I wouldn't rule out the obsolete regs on SBRs and suppressors is eliminated someday - provided the gun grabbers don't prevail. But there is no way on Earth the ATF is going away. Thirty years ago nobody thought moonshiners would be selling their corn liquor alongside other booze. Yet here we are. Fifty years ago and decades prior to that Fed agents and bootleggers were shooting at each other.

Yeah I’d like to be in charge of the ATF for a day….maybe even a week.
A 4 year old could write more sensible interpretations.

I second that. Most of those YouBoob 'experts' are posers. In it to make a buck without working hard or knowing how to actually do anything. Hundreds of Mr. Peabody's and thousands of Shermans who believe their bullshit. The majority of gun reviews are worthless. Often made by the dude with a beard and lots of ink who knows a guy whose cousin was a friend of a Navy Seal.

The political YouBoob channels simply mirror the divided electorate. Reactionaries tend consume the content they agree with and ignore the rest. They dwell in the far left or far right echo chambers. The truth and reality are somewhere closer to the center. But reality doesn't get many eyeballs and clicks. You can't win followers or make money sharing sensible points of view.

I know this is an old post, but I absolutely can't stand that guy's channel. All his videos are misleading clickbait. His clickbait thumbnails are the worst.

A male click prostitute and a Youtube street-walker trying to take advantage of dumb-asses.

There are so many better lawyer channels out there for 2A news.

I just absolutely will not watch his videos anymore.
He is a total click bait whore and 99% of his headlines are outright lies.
I did the math. He makes a middle hundred dollars per day just based on Youtube views. Say about $150 per day average. That's about $4,500 per month just to be a click bait whore rather than a practicing attorney. Enough to pay some bills.

I don't think it's his side hustle either.
The guy has a process. Build the thumbnail, use the donut intro and outro, plug a sponsor or two, and read from a script he writes. Taking into account copywriting, listening to the cases, crafting your message, filming it, uploading it, I reckon he works on that about 4-5 hours a day minimum. I think that's optimistic and it is longer. Just the research and listening to cases to accurately state what happened would be an hour or two minimum per topic or court hearing. But, he totally fucks people around with his headlines. Nothing is ever happening as he presents in his thumbnails.

I would never hire this guy as a lawyer. Just a fucked up personality and he would bore a judge or jury to death.

Sad, especially in this day and age. Spreading wrong and misinformation isn't just a waste of time but in some cases could get people in trouble. Yeah, you need to be smart about what you follow though if you are going to research and fact check what's the point in spending time watching the video? You'd be better off just doing your own research.

If he's pulling in $4500/month then has off to him. Not bad for part time work, if the 4 to 5 hours/day assumption is accurate.

My daughter has tried to monetize some things on YouTube (and had millions of views on stuff she can't monetize). Per her, they've really jerked the creators around. I wonder if he's pulling in what you think?!

I find that hitting the "dislike" button tends to keep those videos from crossing my feed. There are quite a few alarmist guntoobers I've quieted that way. :)

My latest unfollows and dislikes were of a couple guntoobers I actually somewhat enjoyed on occasion. But when they started the video shilling for a Dumpocrap-donor, POS slipNfall, "worlds largest ambulance-chasing firm" initials M&M, I made a point to comment to tell them I was unsub-ing and dis-liking and that they were as greedy as the law firm they were shilling for. :mad: Personal Injury law is the most loathsome of professions and promotes lack of personal responsibility by undeserving people. Such lawsuits raise insurance rates for us decent people...

I would debate the most loathsome profession.
Probate Attorneys take the cake as the epitome of chasers. They don't chase ambulances full of people that may still stand a chance. Instead they're Hearse chasers and grave robbing with their diplomas and stealing from the dead. Even mobsters aren't this low.
I have dealt with a couple of them. They are on average, not very sharp and can earn a living making $300-400 per hour shuffling paperwork in a labyrinth of convoluted laws designed to earn them more money doing nothing.

I imagine they're the lowest common denominator of graduates going through law school and are incapable, incompetent litigators in a courtroom with a jury. They almost exclusively deal with bench trial judges and few juries. The worst part is they actually think they are doing something in life to earn their living. They're takers, not makers in the absolute lowest form. $00.02

You do have a point there. When my mom died, the attorney AND my POS SIL "executor" each got 10% of the $100G "estate" for their troubles. Money was left for my kids in an account for when they turned 18 to be managed until that time by the executor. That cunt used the account as a personal savings account until it was empty. :mad: She embezzled about $50Gs from my kids and nieces (15k, 15k, 10k, 10k). We went to a lawyer who said there wasn't much we could do since she was an indigent pillhead with no assets. :mad: Sometimes family really sucks...
