Video Climate change is a money-grabbing hoax, and the Deputy Sec of Energy proves it.

Just for BL...

I've lived long enough to know that most anything the government tells us is bullshit. I can remember Nixon telling the nation that by the year 2000, there would be no more oil. The rage back then was also "global cooling." Everyone was afraid of an ice age. Of all the bullshit, Covid was the biggest and by far, the most consequential.

Now, I read this morning that the DC shooter is said to have been radicalized since he's been here. More bullshit. Muslim beliefs are radical by nature. Just read the Quran. He was simply acting against the infidel's as he was taught to do since birth. As many Muslims as Biden (Obama) brought here, there will be more incidents like this one. Not a single one of them should be in this country, including the Somalis. They are taught to steal from us and lie to us to conquer us. We are financing our own demise thanks to our sick and dangerous leadership.

We didn't learn a damn thing from 9-11. Muslim beliefs are not compatible with Christianity or our Constitution. People will believe it when faced with renouncing Christianity or having their head lopped off. It appears to be coming to that if something isn't done fast.

I think it will take one of those rare photos of her when she isn't scowling into the camera and shouting "How dare you!" 😔

Now THIS is BL stiffy material... šŸ˜‹

There's my precious! An unusual smile to be sure. But I have to mention that she's a tiger when she's angry. If you know what I mean.

That was expected. This is one of the few things they got right in the past 50 years. It was DuPont scientists who figured this out. Not dipshits like Al Gore.

The article is full of omissions. What the idiot reporter fails to mention was a growing concern over stratospheric ozone depletion and its attendant dangers long before 1985. A ban was imposed on the use of CFCs in aerosol-spray dispensers in the late 1970s by the United States, Canada, and Scandinavian countries. Freon regulations and replacements came next. Freon started to become popular in the 1930s. Refrigeration and especially air conditioning went off the charts in the 1960's.

Stop releasing forever chemicals into the air, the Earth eventually heals itself.

I would argue that the chemicals are harmless and the "ozone layer ' (if it even exists) simply runs through a cycle like so many things concerning our planet.

I went to an older auto tech trade school in the early 80s. In learning to service A/C systems, we had these self-contained table-top units we would practice evacuating and re-filling of refrigerant. When evacuating the R-12, we would just poke the discharge hose out the window! That was about 2lbs every time.

Working in a dealership, we would have "A/C specials" that would include 2 cans of R-12. If the car only needed a can, I ended up with the "extra" can as it WAS paid for. Over time I ended up with dozens of cans. My friends, family and I didn't pay for refrigerant for over a decade. :)

Later in my career I became MACS certified. Every shop had to have at least one or two recovery machines: (1) because they were required and (2) because refrigerants had become quite expensive, especially R-12. A machine would pay for itself within a month...

Islam is a Political ideology of global conquest, masquerading as a 'religion'. And their mosques, first and foremost, are Physical Markers of dominance. Take for example, the mosque at the Temple Mount.

It is NOT an active place of 'worship' of their god, as one may presume. Inside, it's a mess. Books, garbage. and so forth strewn all over. It's a Symbol of victory for them, firstly. "WE own this" as they thumb their nose at Yawed and His Son Jesus, and His Sprit.

While Christianity is a gospel of "whosoever will", meaning personal, willful choice; Islam is a "convert or DIE" mandate. They will only tolerate living alongside (seemingly in peace, mind you) the infidel....until they are strong enough to overthrow them. And they are very methodical, scheming, and patient to do so. History bears this fact out, time and time again.

I don't want to hear "what about the Holy Wars??" to somehow justify Islam- yes they WERE bloody, but they were a direct answer to the pedo Mohammed's Islamic conversion campaigns that were atrociously violent and demonically evil. Plain and simple.

Then we have "the benevolent and merciful Allah".... pfft. Mohammed cleaned the temple of all their idols, yet let one remain, and proclaimed it as acceptable- 'allah'. Pfft again.

Their 'god' encourages deceit, rape, murder, parasiting of the "infidel....so much more I can say here, but it's not only satanic, but I believe it indeed IS the spirit of anti-christ. Their god, their "father" IS the father of LIES. One cannot convince me otherwise.

Then you would be arguing with every chemist, chemical engineer, and medical researcher on the planet. Like people who insisted for half a century that smoking cigarettes did not cause throat and lung cancer. Or that asbestos was harmless and useful. We all know people who bought into those lies. The good news is most of them died prematurely. And being dead can no longer spread those false tales.

Shoe stores in the early 20th century used fluoroscopes (primitive x-ray devices) to measure feet and sell shoes that fit. A gimmick. Until customers, including children were getting radiation burns, developing bone and skin cancer caused by these machines. Humans dont live in harmony with their environment like animals or insects. Everything we do fucks something up. Some things we do are more harmful than others.

The environmental impact of chlorinated solvents and gasses is established science, not climate fear mongering. The risks of chlorinated solvents in the air and soil long preceded climate change madness. Al Gore was dating cheerleaders in high school when the risks of these chemicals was discovered.

Those propellants, refrigerants, and coolants - the latter most commonly in utility transformers - were great at what they did. They last a very long time and don't break down. This is the problem when they end up getting into the environment. They don't go away for a very long time and were found to be very toxic to any living creature - man, fish, or beast. This hasn't been up for debate for almost 50 years now. Ironically, the companies that made these chemicals were the ones that discovered how harmful they were.

Do some reading on Hooker Chemical and the chlorinated solvents they buried in the ground in Love Canal for decades. Then sold the land and didnt disclose what was buried there. Homes were built on that land in the 50s and 60's. The toxins killed hundreds of adults and children... cancer, birth defects, irreversible neurological damage. An entire community had to be abandoned. Homes, schools, playgrounds. It took decades to clean up and it's still not safe.

Ask me how I know. Been there. Anyone visiting the Buffalo area, I suggest bringing a case of bottled water and not showering. :)

Any Vietnam vets here want to argue the harmless benefits and ramifications of being exposed to Agent Orange? My guess is no takers.

One of the components of this defoliant brew and the most harmful was: tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD)

My neighbor passed earlier this year, Vietnam Vet. He developed cancer which took his life, apparently from AO. At 83, I guess he survived longer than most, and I would still see him bringing and retrieving his garbage can to/from the curb up until his death. :) RIP Tony... :(

You begin to become aware of your own age when VN vets are in or approaching their 80s. My brothers both served in Vietnam.

My brother in law and my eldest brother were both exposed to agent orange. Diagnosed with the common symptoms years later. Every time I get a call from my nieces or nephews I assume the worst. They are both in very poor health. Have been for years.

Was the poison the cause? Hard to be sure. Some of the evidence says yes.

And now we have the Persian Gulf vets with issues secondary to "burn pits" and burning oil well heads.

Afghanistan burn pits too.

In the past century or so, humankind has figured out that a lot of shit we produced after WW2 is killing us. A lot of new technology and chemistry breakthrus were made in that time. Not all of it good. In the early 20th century, asbestos was touted as a miracle material. Chlorinated solvents of all kinds solved a lot of problems. Like asbestos, unknowingly at the time to be hazardous to most life forms.

Gratuitous use of insecticides is another modern fuckup. It did increase crop yields and reduced the risk of infectious diseases like malaria but was killing off vital species of birds, bees, and people who were exposed to it. Or eating the products it was being applied to.

I did fair amount of time in petro/chem facilities when I was a young engineer. Benzene, an oil refining-byproduct, was a popular solvent and used as lighter fluid. Exposure to it causes cancer in a wide swath of people. I used to clean my football helmet with my father's benzene lighter fluid. I'm still here. I take notice when friends and classmates my age start dropping dead from cancer in the 50's. That's not normal.

Lead made old cars run great when it was added to gasoline. It also caused brain damage among people exposed to fuel and also car exhausts. The hazards of lead exposure were first discovered in the 1700s. They used it in gasoline starting in the 1920's to solve a problem - and ignored the risks until 50 years later there were millions of cars and trucks on the road.

Fun fact: A lot of the insecticides used past and present are based on the formula for nerve agents developed as weapons in WWI and further refined during the Cold War. Some say Saddam killed a million Kurds with it. These compounds were designed to kill people, not bugs. Postwar, some geniuses figured out they were great at killing bugs too. For example: The active ingredient in a can of RAID is pyrethroid. A neurotoxin. I'd avoid inhaling it or getting it on your skin.

Modern chemistry has produced some amazing things and mankind helped achieve what was once thought impossible. The problem is some of those developments will kill us if we are exposed to them or cause environmental damage that is difficult or takes decades, perhaps centuries to dissipate. In many ways, it's like radiation. You cant see, smell or feel it - until it gets inside you and your organs shut down.

My wife's grandfather who was a commercial farmer, used to wash his hands in that dreaded DDT. He lived into his 80's before passing.

Growing up in Venezuela, they would have fumigation trucks go through the neighborhood fogging for mosquitos. My brother and I thought it was "cool fog" (never see actual fog in Venezuela) and would go out and run around in it! No shit. It's amazing we're alive today. We had no clue.
