Ok , It all started back in 2012, I couldn't find any 357sig at my LGS or any other LGS 's in the area. So I started reloading it. My nephew and I were shooting my brothers G31 and I started reloading range ammo for it. Projo's were hard to get so 9mm (.355"dia) and 38 (.357"dia) were experimented with. Everything feed and shot well but it was just range ammo.
About 4 years later I got a G31 then a G32 followed by a G35 in 357sig. And down the Rabbit Hole I fell. Pulled the rope in as well ! Since then I have made 4 loads that are kinda special. 115gr XTP , 125gr XTP , 125grFMJ and a 142grFMJ. There is a 3 page thread on 308forum in the reloading section. If one needs more information on it. My favorite is a 125gr load chrono'ed at 1615 fps and accurate to 450yards on a steel target
, off the top of a mountain ! I sh!t you not, we were shooting high angle on steel at 275 ,325 , 375. & 450 yards. When we were done I broke out with a brand new G31 with plastic sights and 4 mags of some spicy "warm" rounds. All 4 of us shot and hit steel with that Glock.
I have also developed a142gr projo load that's spicy
but not hot
.Chorno'ed at 1505 to 1550 fps depending on with powder I use , Longshot or 800X.
I have also formed 357sig cases from 40S&W cases, and yes they work just fine !!!
Now I have an ARP in 357sig. There is no light at the end of this tunnel.
