Want to buy 1 of their ported barrels, but description shows does not work with any other slides but the ones they sell. Is there a different spec then used that will not allow compatibility with another brand of slide? Can someone validate either way?

80P ported barrel is compatible with a lot of top window cut slides.

- AOA port/slide combo - top two holes are blocked by other slides

Yeah, the key is that the ports have to be aligned with the slide cut-out such that the explosive gases are vented unhindered. If the explosive gasses coming out of the ports run into the slide, the resulting pressure back on the frame will "ka-boom" the frame. No bueno!
So, the safe way to go is buying the "matched set" of barrel / slide when it comes to ported designs.
