Help! Accidentally cut back of channel where RSA sits.

Hey all, been building for a while on the P80 platform and recently decided to try out a PF940sc, only to realize that of course, everything is smaller and therefore easier to accidentally cut.. etc.
Was halfway through cutting down the channel with my X-Acto knife and realized I had made 2 cuts in the back "plate" that the recoil spring sits.. photo is attached.
Users on R/Polymer80 said it was fine, but me being a perfectionist, I needed more opinions
Is this fine? Do I leave it? Or should it be a concern?
