That's what I'm seeing here. Folks aren't worried as much about the woke insurgents.
I went up the two track today to fire the 1911 I posted about. All I found at the usual
spot was 4, 9mm Luger shell cases. Since the election, folks are not shooting as much.

About the only gunfire I hear is on the weekend when skeet tribe is having services.

That's their Ammo+ price. I used to buy a bunch of ammo from them until they started the membership program. When they did, they raised their prices on the non-membership group, so I stopped using them. Also, much of the time I could find almost exactly what they charged for around the same price from another member without a membership charge. Now, this is $0.002 more per round so it would cost me $3 more to order it online than through Target. The 1k round price is $4 cheaper at Target than online. Their membership is $99.99 per year. I would have to buy a heck of a lot of ammo in a year just to break even. Ammoseek.com is your friend.

Maybe if you only ordered small quantities of ammo at once it may be a good thing, but I never order less than 2k at a time. I'd have to buy 25,000 rounds of ammo in a year to break even on this example alone. I know there are some that do that every year, but I only do half that in a good year.

I read that gun sales among the leading US gunmakers are down 11-15% over same time last year.

Seems like there has been a bump in used gun supply too. Ive been getting more ads and promos recently. There should be some good bargains ahead.

I'm offering $20 for every Sig P320/M17/M18 whose owners are scared of them. :)

Note to self: Renew Target Sports membership. Evidently, now is the time to stock up.

Buy low, sell high!

I sold a 30 cal ammo can of American Eagle 5.7 x 28 during the Summer of Love. I got $25 a box for it, the seller told me I was ripping him off and was a fool for selling it.

American politics is a pendulum. Dem rulers are the best gun and ammo salespeeps. Unfortunately they are having trouble finding any candidates who can identify with normie Americans so it might be a while until the pendulum swings back their way. Possibly it will swing up and over the top into Horseshoe Theory territory, what happens in 2028 it not at all predictable today.

I raise you - 25 bucks

I’m still waiting for it to drop to around $0.13 per round. Not sure I will see that low until we get the Russian ammo back. Sure wish Putin would get out of Ukraine for many reasons.

Best I can get you is 20 cents for real Russian ammo :ROFLMAO: (if you buy $200 of it)

Prices are not the only story, availability has returned too.

This is my favorite defensive shotgun load. I had to wait months on the "notify me" list to have a few cases show up and sell out within minutes. Now they have been showing 99+ cases of this stuff in stock for several weeks, at a lower price than what I paid for it. 💸

availability has returned too.

Not for most of my "favorites" saved on Target Sports. Most of them are unavailable.
I haven't been able to get 6.5 Creedmoor for MONTHS. Some of it for YEARS. No shit.

Are you on the "notify me" list for any of those? I have full cases of 5 of the cartridges you posted. I woulda had 6 of them but I sold my case of Hornady 6.5 Creed ELD-X after getting rid of that gun. The empty can got filled with the 6.5 PRC ELD-X ammo for the gun that replaced it. Want to buy some SS197..? 🥸

There is one cartridge on my wish list that has not shown up at TSUSA, I did find some of it at SG Ammo. So I do feel your pain.

I opted for CRD 6.5 with a couple of rifles because it shoots a bit longer and flatter than 308. There have been times I regretted my decision due to cost. Availability hasn’t been an issue for me. Just the volatility of the price. The 308 performs well at the distances I need it to. I also gave up on competing in long range matches. I thought it was dull and cliquish.

For hunting I’ve stuck with 7mm Rem Mag. Love the Tikka T3 with Leupold glass. Very lightweight. I’ve taken large game with it at 400 yards no problem.

Yes, of course.

I'm not in desperate need for any of them. But I'm just pointing out that availability has not improved.

You might just plan long term for what you want to stock up on. This one is 30 bucks cheaper than the cases of it I bought last year. They had it as part of the ammo+ day, it may be included in the sale again this year. You are definitely right in pointing out the falling prices!

Some of the more boutique cartridges can be found at Midway and they also have sales. Then there is SG Ammo, he ships free for anything over $200 and has some really unusual stuff, like 50 BMG APIT, which it looks like he has sold out of.

Buyer beware with the exotic milsurp stuff. Banana Ballistics just did a 50 BMG steel penetration test, he found out his black tip armor piercing ammo was standard ball with some black paint on the bullets. As a consolation he did get a black dog out of the deal.

Living in a blue state I stock up on what I want when it is available because I never know when my governor or mayor is going to make another anti-constitutional executive order to cancel the 2A rights of law abiding citizens. Post-Bruen, blue state rulers are getting more and more creative in their authoritarian ways.

Yep... I've bought and used a lot of that CCI Blazer Brass 124. And I also use SG Ammo. Midway is generally very expensive for ammo. But sometimes, they have a good deal.

I only buy 50 BMG from reputable sellers I know. I dont want to blow my head off with a round of unknown origin. Check this out:

Yikes, that was the first time I watched that!

Scott is impressive in how humble, wholesome and matter-of-fact he is in talking about what happened so soon after the accident. He does not play the victim or go into the blame game. It was hard to watch knowing what was coming but thanks for sharing it BL, it was worth seeing for various reasons. I appreciate his goofball approach to creating content all the more knowing the character behind the guntoober persona. 🙏
