Finally received my green dye in the mail. Apparently Rit doesn't make a green dye for synthetics, so I found another company that did. I was going for a neon green / zombie green, but it didn't quite come out that way. I'd say it came out more like PSA's sniper green color. Oh well. No going back now.

Next mod... maybe play with your laser and add some cool designe at grip area???

I actually just ordered a larger lens for it so the engraving area will be larger. It's currently only 70mm x 70mm, the new lens will make it 105mm x 105mm

The colors on all three of those dye jobs is spectacular. Besides the hot water and dye, did you do anything special? How long did they need to soak to get that deep color?

My eyes went right to the red one. I wouldn't carry a red gun - but it would be a nice complement to my red Gladiator. I don't have a special "Jeep gun". :) Maybe it's time.

I'd say around 4 to 5 minutes , stirring it around with metal tongs and checking it every minute or so
