How are they going to get $62M out of a local retail business? I'm betting the retailer's liability insurance maxes out a LOT lower than $62M.

A jury on Wednesday awarded Baltimore City the largest verdict ever against a Maryland đź‘»gun dealer.

The city was granted $62 million in damages from firearm retailer Hanover Armory LLC, which was alleged to have contributed to violent crime in Baltimore.

F Baltimore, F Maryland. They probably couldn't prove any of the 'ghost' guns recovered from crime scenes or determined to be related to a crime, came through this gun store. Their crime rates are so high because of who runs the city. Not because of a single gun or gun parts manufacturer or retailer.
And no, I don't think the Democrats run the city. Gangs and criminals run the city, enabled by the politicians elected there.
Maybe, just maybe, the people who live there will wake up, as opposed to being woke, and vote the criminals out of office.

The business won't pay the judgement. They will be lucky to get anything. He will declare bankruptcy, walk away, and start a new business.

B-more should be the NEXT blue city un-crimed by the NG. :devilish: Blaming 80%s on gun crime is like blaming God or the gods for creating steel that is used in knives and gun barrels or lead or copper used in bullets...

Engage followed all laws that were applicable at the time of their sales. The entire lawsuit is BS and should be overturned on appeal, IMHO. Can't get a fair jury here in Marylandistan for any 2A case. Too many stupid people when it come to firearms of any kind. Most of the lawmakers have never actually seen one in person, much less have any comprehension of how it operates. Still, they talk as if they are experts in the field.

It's very difficult, as an actual firearms expert, to listen to these clowns who are truly ignorant speak on the subject with absolute and delusional confidence and authority while spewing nonsensical gibberish.

If they were really going after the cause of the rise of violent crime, they'd be suing the black community for $62 million. lol

We knew a lady who was in MD, born and raised in Baltimore.... over 12 years ago she told us that Baltimore was so bad that she now avoided the city entirely.
