Added a Trij optic and tall sights to the Glock 20. The irons are TruGlo. The rear is a U channel with tritium dots. The angle is odd but intentional.
The Alaskan is better suited for grizzly country. It's overkill for the smaller black bears typical to eastern NC and VA. The 454 loads may loosen the fillings in your teeth. I do occasionally shoot some practice rounds with it. Mostly 45 LC.
I park both in a Gunfighter chest rig. Glock version not shown. I havent found a better holster for that purpose. The retention is excellent and unlike a lot of leather chest rigs does not need a strap to hold the gun in. Gunfighter holsters are not cheap and they are made to order. I give them high praise, especially if you are hiking or riding an ATV and bouncing around a lot. The straps are stretchy yet soft and don't cause friction burns on your neck or elsewhere like some stiff nylon straps do. If it's hot you can comfortably wear this over a thin t-shirt and it doesn't chap your hide. You almost forget you have it on. Both guns sit at the perfect cant for a rapid draw.
