I'm perpetually looking for the ideal holster. I've long used "hybrid" (leather / kydex) IWB holsters. And they've worked fairly well for me. I've always carried a spare mag in a "Mag Packer" pocket mag holster in my weak-side front pocket.

I've longed for an OWB holster that was comfortable and didn't print like a giant pontoon on my side. And I have the proverbial drawer FULL of holsters. Never found the "right" OWB holster.

But I think the Total Eclipse 2.0 OWB / IWB holster might be the ticket. Or as close as I'm going to get!

ETA: They make one specifically for the PF940C

One of the unique features of this holster is the modularity of the belt loops / clips. They can be changed without any tools.

And this holster can be converted from OWB to IWB. But I got it for the OWB configuration.

I also got the optional "Belt-Lok" belt clips.

While I was at it... I thought I'd try their magazine carrier. They have a single and a double mag pouch. I figured the single would be enough for me.

OK... so here we go! Here are my holster and mag carrier with the "Belt-Lok" clips.

I've been using this carry system for a few weeks now. I like it. It is comfortable. I like that the mag carrier freed up my front left pocket. AND I think "tactically" it's much easier to "deploy" the mag if needed (as opposed to drawing it from my pocket).

I often wear a Duluth Trading Company "Long Tail T" shirt with a light tucked under shirt. The DTC t-shirts are NOT "form-fitting" and are quite loose.

Though I will concede that the OWB still prints a bit. I'd rather it didn't. But as time goes on... I just don't give a shit if someone notices. But I also realize that 99.99% of people out in public are oblivious to bulges.

We'll see how the holster holds up... especially where the belt clips attach. It's all plastic. But, so far I'm digging it.

I'm gonna assume that the P80 frame slides in and out okay with this Glock version holster. Otherwise, I assume you would have mentioned any issues in the trigger guard area fitting

Looks like a pretty nice rig, Racer! Like you, I don't worry about printing either and although none of us like to "print" because it might tip off a really observant person with criminal intent, there's nothing unlawful about "printing" in Florida, only that the firearm be concealed, which I know you know, but for everyone else not in Florida, is defined in Florida Statutes Chapter 790.001(2):
(2) “Concealed firearm” means any firearm, as defined in subsection (6), which is carried on or about a person in such a manner as to conceal the firearm from the ordinary sight of another person.

Neither. It's made / molded specifically for the P80 (PF940C).

I've been looking to cheap out on an OWB holster for a monthly steel plate challenge I go to. We don't draw from the holster, just park the pistol there once the RO determines the mag is out and gun is clear, then dry-fired at berm. I set up a po' boy Glock "sport" holster rig that holds Glock, Dagger and Lone Wolf framed guns but does not a P80 and here is why.

With the P80 frame, and I'm sure this is similar with all their non-slim frames, the trigger guard is about 1/16-1/8" wider than Glock. The off hand trigger guard "rest" also sticks down 1/16-1/8" more than Glock. The rail on the dust cover also sticks down about 1/8" more than Glock. Refer to the holster photos of the different guns Racer posted. My pics below are Dagger, Lone Wolf and PF940C L-R, and LW, PF940C F-B.

PS: I forgot to mention that the skyscraper 1/3 co-witness front sights PSA puts on their optics-ready slides also complicate holster choice. I swapped my front out with a lower hi-vis tritium so it would fit in the holster.

Brain Fart! I missed that scrolling through the list. Thank you.

It doesn't list a P80 SC frame, but I'm gonna assume it will insert fine, with the G19 P80 holster with it being just a little long to accommodate the G19's longer barrel. The sweat guard can maybe be trimmed down if needed, but the profile of a G19 and the G26 frame is the same in this area.

I may try this holster, as Racer tends to have very thorough reviews and I was not really interested in OWB due to the inherent printing issues that can come with this style.

@Bobster , Thank you for your excellent and clear photos at the correct angle that clearly show the differences of the P80 frame in the crucial areas that prevent it from inserting correctly in some rigid, non-leather Glock holsters. Your photo almost needs to be a sticky or resource. It is perfect to show the differences which plague P80 holster fitment issues when attempting to use a Glock holster. With all the hullaballew in the news and out of politicians pie holes about 👻guns and P80s being on every street corner, it would appear that more vendors would accommodate P80s in their holster product offerings. After all, the "news", politicians and alphabet agencies say P80 is the black plague!

Yep, the man saves me a lot of time. He very thoroughly reviews it to the minutia, and I usually buy it based upon his seal of approval.

It's now been a bit over a month that I've had this holster. I'm liking it a lot.

While I have "successfully suffered" IWB hybrid holsters for many many years, I've tried many OWB holsters with no joy. Most of them just stick out WAY too far. I've said before... Like a pontoon.

The Blade-Tech Total Eclipse 2.0 tucks in tighter than any OWB holster I've used. All the others are in a drawer. This one is a keeper.

For many years, I've carried a spare mag in a "mag-packer" holster in my "weak side" front pocket. Of course, that meant nothing else could go in that pocket. It's also not the fastest "draw" for a reload. So, I am also digging having the Total Eclipse 2.0 OWB mag pouch on my belt on the opposite of my holster. And it frees up a pocket! :)

Paired up with my Wilderness "Instructor" belt, it adds up to a very nice "rig!"

Very happy... FINALLY... with an OWB holster!
