Build #2. This is for the Mrs.

Well, my wife likes the grip on my GST-9 so much that she wanted one of her own. This will be her very first gun that is "hers". I'm excited to build it for her and she's picking out the bits and pieces along the way. She wanted a black gun with chameleon PVD details, so here's where we are so far.

The GST-9 frame. She likes the shorted grip length, whereas I added the extension to mine.

Fluted chameleon barrel from PSA.

And the slide, also from PSA. I really like the rear sight sitting forward of the optic cut. It comes ready to shoot, with suppressor height Ameriglo sights.

I want her to have a really good optic, so I went with the Holosun 507C with the ACSS Vulcan reticle. She's really excited about that!

Chameleon PVD pins:

Ghost Inc 3.5 Ultimate trigger kit. I also got her a Ghost Inc Low-Pro extended mag release.

Chameleon extended slide lock lever.

And just tonight we got the flamed titanium rear cap she picked out:

I should get the chameleon trigger kit and the chameleon fluted guide rod tomorrow, and we can start the build!

Two Tone gradient color attempt on 1776 supply co's crazy $50 frame sale. Found AA 26 kit for $235 shipped. Sand off some materials and polish to my taste. Gen 5 trigger group w/ Gen3 Trigger pin, just like Gen 4 just snip the bottom end AA 26 Kit was for Gen3/4 - Must sand off material off...

I got the last of the build parts last night.
Fluted guide rod:

Trigger. This piece really looks nice!

We'll probably start the build this evening. Church this morning, then I'm working on a custom roof rack for my truck this afternoon.

Alright, we got it built and she enjoyed helping out. It looks great, but the trigger reset is sporadic. I tried adjusting the bend at the end of the trigger bar, but to no avail. The trigger I ordered is beautiful, but all the parts that came with it seem cheap compared the the P80 kit I put in my first build. The edges aren't as straight and crisp. I'm ordering a P80 completion kit and I'll switch out the parts and just keep the chameleon trigger shoe. But anyway, here are some pics.
