Custom borders FTW :)

This customer was pretty happy. I kept it simple with one build and went all out for the other one.

Mods for the fancy one are:
- Got rid of all the mold lines. Well almost all cuz I missed one
- Deleted the slide lock dust cover or whatever it's called lol. It's that little notch under the slide lock.
- Midnight bronze cerakote
- Glove bevels
- Enhanced finger groove
- Double undercut
- Re-contoured index point
- Viscid 2.0 texture for the front and back straps and Iron Cloud for the side panels.
- Custom shared hd border layout

Mods for more simple frame are:
- Burnt bronze cerakote
- Recessed borders
- Rice texture
- Double undercut
- Re-contoured index point
- Enhanced finger groove

Hey @Racer88 Any idea why my links copy over like that. The instagram and facebook link copied over strange. My website is the first link which is acceptable but still weird. Instagram is the second link. And facebook is the third link.

Without me seeing what you copied, I can only assume.... that's what you copied from the source and pasted here. Did you copy something different?

I just copied the actual url's. It did the same thing on my last post. I just had to edit the link to make it say what I wanted it to and it still worked. I just wanted you to see it this time.

Not sure what you meant there. But, when you copy a url and paste it, it automatically creates a text-based link, if the information is there in the link. I believe they call it "link unfurling." It's a feature, not a flaw.

So... when I copy paste the link to this thread, "https :// www . patriotgunbuilders . com/forums/threads/custom-borders-ftw.500/#post-3020" (I put some spaces in there so it would display spelled out) it looks like this:

Right. That's the automatic "unfurling," as I understand it. Meant to be a feature, not a flaw. Instead of a cryptic url, you get the keywords turned into a link to the url. A bit more descriptive of where the reader is going if he / she clicks it.

Sometimes it does that... turns it into linked keywords or the name of the website. Other times it creates a whole little box link with an image, too. I'm not sure how it works... just that it does.

Gotch ya. Pretty cool feature. Only it gave it a really dumb name. Now I know how to manually edit it though. Thanks for your help
