E-Bikes and bugging out (or riding just for fun) on abandoned railroad tracks!

I have a feeling that shotgun under the hood is not legal. Also kind of useless unless your target is right in front of it.

A semi-auto shortie 12 or 20 ga would be my preferred weapon if I were making my way out of Dodge riding a bicycle on the rails like those shown here. Goes without saying a pistol would be present, but the shotty would be perfect for firing while you are moving.

If someone along the way were to try and engage you while moving at 20 mph, they would have to flank you or approach from your 12. It would be easy to dispatch them with a short barreled, it's not a shotgun weapon. Extremely effective at 20 yards or less.

Riding rails on an e-bike would make it easy for someone to pick you off with a long gun at a distance. But that would be the case anywhere there was no useful cover - such as walking, riding, rolling down the road in a vehicle, etc. If I found myself in the precarious position of needing to evade capture or getting killed, I would be on the move at night, resting and hiding during daylight hours.

Stumbled up on this vid. 40+ m.p.h e-bike for $2500. Doesn't have the range of the Cam Engineering bike in the previous vid, but battery is quick change and extra batteries are $500 ea. Might be a contender if the Cam Engineering bike is too pricey.

Dude does e-bike reviews on his channel. Aging California hippie type that comes off as mildly annoying at first, but his review is info packed without the fluff of a lot of youtubers.

40+ MPH on a bicycle is pretty awesome. I like the short frame and those fat tires.

A Road Warrior getting ready for SHTF?
Should have at least got a mag extension. But a 12ga. slug through the back window will get their attention...

Looks fairly easy to replicate "for instructional purposes only!" ;) I see a door lock actuator and receiver attached to an aluminum plate via the stock bolt. Semi-auto also because stopping to open the hood and rack the slide might give away your "secret"... :D

I'm more wondering about the lack of climate control in that vehicle...

No decision. I have looked at a lot of them. I like the Ristretto.
