Finally got to the range to test the new firing pin... and shake off the cobwebs!

Only to help the sucks is putting forth the effort to NOT suck
Unfortunately, most people / shooters think there is a "tip" that can be given which will make them suddenly a marksman. I have not had a single person (at the range) ask me for the name of my instructor. None have taken me up on the offer to give them the name of a good instructor. Not a single one.

Thats cuz asking for instructions is like asking for directions or wearing womens pantys. Never get caught and deny deny deny if ya do.
How dare you insinuate that I don’t know where I’m going. Pfft. :ROFLMAO:

Not to be too harsh...

I should also mention that I learned a lot from others at matches and informal engagements at ranges. Also from military or law enforcement and security professionals I worked with. Either listening to their sage advice or observing the best of the best then emulating them.

People are what they are. The world is full of jerks and dumb shits. They are spread out evenly. But in the same breath it's important to recognize that there are some truly talented people who stand out. I always made a point of seeking them out. A true expert takes a genuine interest in others and enjoy sharing their skill. It makes them feel good to help someone be as good or become a better marksman than they are. It doesn't bruise their ego if you do. I've made a poor attempt to imitate these men over the years, but I will always be grateful for their guidance.

Well said, BL.

The world is a mixed bag of humanity, innit?
