Breaking! Gunman believed to be a 14-year-old in Georgia school shooting that left at least 4 dead

Breaking news!
How would that help? It's a 14 yr. old kid that shouldn't have a gun anyway.
At my high school (early 80s) it was common for students to have rifles / shotguns in their trucks to hunt before / after school. We had a Hunters Safety course AT the school. Most boys carried pocket knives.

Nobody got shot or stabbed.

I bought my first gun at age 16, by myself... just went to the local store and paid and walked out with a shotgun.

That 14 year old kid likely had access to all manner of dangerous things... like all of us did. That's not the problem.

First and foremost, my heart goes out to the family and friends of all those involved. So heartbreaking, senseless, and tragic.

Now, with that said, isn’t this a gun free zone? Won’t quote Trump very often but he did say, “gun free zones equals target.” When will we learn that a soft gun free zone only means the good guys won’t have guns and the bad guys will? If there are to be gun free zones, there needs to be ample security and the ones stipulating it be gun free should be held accountable if there is not enough protection.

Karine Jean parrot face DIE hire has already called for universal background checks and banning "assault rifles."

I saw that and wondered why a press secretary is commenting like she's in charge of something. Her job is to tell the White House press corps what Biden thinks, not what she thinks. Instead of repeating a statement from the President, she speaks as if she has some authority. WTF.

It's a tacit admission that Bidet IS NOT IN CHARGE and will never be again! Someone else IS running the POTUS46 Administration and it's NOT that imbecile VP; she doesn't have the capacity!

I said he shouldn't have a gun, but that's wrong. I started shooting when I was 8 years old. I was taught to respect guns. I was also taught that killing another human being was WRONG, and like the other 9 Commandments, if I broke them, I would stand before my maker and be held accountable for my actions.

I often had to stand before my Earthly father and be held accountable. Good teaching and the occasional sore ass went a long way toward teaching me right from wrong. Children NEED a good Biblical foundation and discipline. We are seeing the result of removing both.

Don't think you would say "that's wrong" if you'd included something like "unfettered access" between "shouldn't" and "have" in that first sentence!

I was taught about guns and hunting by a beloved uncle and began pheasant hunting when I was 10-11 years old. I was strictly supervised and lectured on gun safety constantly. Lectures and stern corrections were swift if I broke those rules.

Age is relative. In some of the places I went later in life, I saw young teens 15-16 years old who were already combat veterans. Carrying beat up AKs. As the saying goes ... which I believe sprang from the history of teenage coal miners - a baby's face and old man's eyes.

They don't go around randomly shooting people because they have teen angst. They fight for survival, injustice, hardships and other things a kid shouldn't have to deal with. Things dumb fuck spoiled kids in the US who shoot up a school can't imagine. I have no sympathy for these young sociopaths from suburbia who think they have a reason to exact revenge on someone, their peers, or society in general. Or their asleep at the wheel parents.

Police interviewed this mental defective months ago because he was making threats. Yet his idiot parents still had guns in the house he had access to. I hope they go to prison too.

Yeah, I saw that. No surprise. Seems to be the case in every case.... Someone KNEW there was trouble brewing. There are ALWAYS pre-incident indicators (PINS). Literally 100% of the time.

I had unfettered access from the age of about 12, meaning the guns were not locked up. I knew not to touch them without permission. I also had no desire ever, to kill anyone; even when I was as angry as I ever got.

At the age of 16, I had all 5 of my guns in my own bedroom in a gun cabinet. There was never any problem.

Same here but I was taken to shoot the guns at a very young age and taught how to respect and treat the weapons. They were readily available whenever. Never did it ever cross my mind to use them for nefarious reasons. They were there to target practice, hunt, and for self-defense. At my high school, it was not uncommon to have multiple trucks with a gun rack, rifles, and shotguns in the vehicles.

In 8th grade I helped Dave Schmidt take Mausers, Arasaka's, Nambu's, Lugers
and a Katana to school for show and tell in Mrs Olsen's history class on
WWII. We rode the school bus that day instead of walking because of the
weight of the gear. This was in 72-73 in Wyoming.

Being from a rural setting where everyone hunted and fished we knew what
guns and big knives did. It would never cross our minds to use them on
PEOPLE!! You didn't do that.

My father was a seismographer and one of the drill pushers gave me his
S&W K-22 Combat Masterpiece I kept in my room along with the DCM M-1
Carbine and Mom's Stevens .410 shotgun that was hers when she was a little girl.

I had a yellow box of Winchester Western .22's for the S&W, 2 15 round mags of
ball for the carbine and a box of #6 bird shot for the .410. The only condition
was not to load the guns while in the house.

Now we have little monsters who say they're going to go to school and kill people.
They get checked over by the authorities and nothing happens until they whack
someone then it's hand wringing time and I'm called to task for it.? I'll get back to
you on that one Skippy.

In the mean time when one of these little turds say they are going to kill
somebody,,,,,,, BELIEVE THEM AND TREAT IT AS AN ACTIONABLE THREAT.

Hickok45 gave a "talk" on "Kids and Guns" the other day. We share a lot of the same mentality toward a child's access to guns. (allowed, just ask) VIDEO (~18min)

I don't believe mass shooters should be apprehended alive, IDGAF how young and/or crazy they are--they are damaged goods, put 'em down. 😠 I know there are plenty of civilian volunteers that would gladly pull the trigger in a firing squad. :devilish:

It sounds like the parents did what they could to prevent unauthorized access. Both my kids at that age had easy access to most of the guns here. But I guess they never felt like killing anyone... :) Should the parents be charged? Maybe with ignorance for not realizing their kid had issues...

It was plainly obvious that kid was fucked in the head a year ago when he started making threats. No sympathy for the parents who did nothing. They failed to lock up the guns so their crazy kid couldn't do EXACTLY what he said he was going to do. I'd put both their asses in prison. These deaths and gunshot injuries were 100% preventable. The parents are contributory negligent and their apologies aren't good enough.

On the bright side, it's been said he will be charged as an adult. His 14 year old pink ass is going to be very popular in Hays State prison.

Colt Gray: I wonder what his pronouns are

Looks like a possible tranny in the works. I wonder how much the public school system itself is responsible for his state of mind.
Yes the hair looks like he identifies as a girl. Now, I had long hair when I was a teen. But the blonde dye job looks weird to me.

News says the father has been charged.

Also… Mom is an educated professional but also a convicted meth user and dealer. WTF.
