Haven't tried it and don't intend to!

I saw that. Clever work-around. But.... No thanks.

I don't believe for a moment that the Secret Service or any other gov't agency is using it, as claimed by the owner dude in that video.

Secondly... I just don't have any reason or use for "shouldering" a pistol. I've got rifles for that.

Mind you... I think it should be legal, of course.

For the gang that can't shoot straight! :) Reminds me of bump stocks.

I often commented that cheap bump stocks were for people who can't shoot well and need to overcompensate. I didn't agree with the ban. I just thought they were silly.

You don't bump fire to overcompensate for not shooting well. You bump fire because it's FUN! Of course, bump firing can be EASILY done without the "bump stock." All you need is your finger hooked into a belt loop on your pants.

The Secret Service and other LE agencies do not have to comply with ATF regs. There is no way on Earth they use that cheap plastic stock thing. When Reagan was shot, it was revealed that at least one agent was carrying an Uzi with a folding stock (see below), guaranteed it was full auto. No agency, including the IRS, has to comply with ATF arms regulations. I was involved in a number of interagency activities. Trust me, gov't agencies have weapons civilians cannot own. They don't mess around with kid stuff even an airsoft or paintball "warrior" would laugh at.

Exactly! I actually laughed when that guy made that claim.

I think the FNH P90 (select fire) is also popular with the SS.

If you want to create a hail of lead for no good reason, a binary trigger is a better choice. I think they are also a waste of time and money. Many ranges don't allow them. I put one on a Scorpion. Doing a mag dump in a few seconds was fun for about ten minutes!

A cheerleader named Julie taught me how to bump in 1975. Life was never the same after that. šŸ˜˜

That mini SCAR is also cool. I think it's called the 15P. I have an affinity for sub guns. The MP5 is by far the most popular in that realm worldwide. What a sweet shooter. One of the best guns ever made.

I would never ever use a binary trigger. If you change your mind after the first shot / pull, there's no way to "stand down." I truly don't understand the attraction to binary triggers. Yikes.

But yes... creating a hail of lead for no good reason is a load of fun.

I also don't "get" the appeal of AR-15 style pistols... at all. I have absolutely no interest in one, not even for fun.... because I don't see them as fun... or of any utility. Then again... I think the Shockwave is cool as shit. Different strokes!

But I love my full size SCAR-16S.

Yep. Forced reset also. There's no changing your mind. Like anything else, if you dont practice and intuitively understand how they function, it can be dangerous.

Nice SCAR!
Rent an MP5. You will get a woody. Nothing like an AR pistol. The Scorpion is also pretty awesome, but it's simple blowback. The MP5 is roller delayed. It makes all the difference in the world. The economical Stribog 3 is also roller delayed. It doesn't rise to HK quality but it's as close as you can get to an MP5 without having to sell a kidney.

Century also makes an MP5 clone, made in Uzbekistan or someplace like that. About $1200.

Unfortunately, now you have to buy without or remove the brace if it came with one. Or buy a stamp.

I really don't get why braces became such an issue. Every marksman or hunter on the planet knows how to use a sling to stabilize a weapon. Which accomplishes the same thing as a brace. Especially with subguns... I think the sling is more effective.

Simple, really. It's about control. It's got nothing to do with "safety" or "lethality." We all know that's a farce. It's about "death by 1000 cuts."

Ultimately, they don't want us to have ANY guns.

I have never needed a gun.jpg

Exactly. If multi shots with single trigger pull is your fancy, I think I'd be more inclined to head to the the burst round trigger. 3 shots with 1 pull. The trigger system is actually pretty cool from an engineering point of view. I don't own one, but I've looked into then.
Binary trigger? I can't get used to the idea of firing another round when I'm releasing the trigger. I release the trigger because I want to stop, not because I want to fire off another round. I know a lot are trying to get as close to the fully auto line that we would all love to be at, but morally, or ethically, or whatever, we don't want to fully commit.....just seems like a huge waste of money for 1 more round....of course just my opinion. I've never fired one so who knows.

Exactly. It's counterintuitive. A pass for me.

It takes about ten minutes to get used to. It's really pretty simple to get the hang of it. I sold the gun after becoming bored with it. Big ammo waster. It's like working in a candy factory. After a couple of weeks, you lose your sweet tooth.

Note: If you do change your mind, you can flip the selector to safe or semi with the trigger pulled and it wont fire when you let go of the trigger. The Franklin does that. So does Fostech. They call it "binary interruption". But like coitus interruptus, it leaves a margin for error that can yield unintended consequences. :)

Had a bump-stocked AR for about a month. Bought the stock for a good price. Kids and I went to range and burned a few hundred rounds--got our yayas out. Dug up the ground and hit everything but the target. We had our "full-auto" experience and I sold it the next week, doubling my money. Cunt Scott had just banned them, anyway... šŸ˜

I'm going to pull some stats out of my ass and say that 99% of the people that use a pistol brace on a gun that is "normally" a rifle, are shouldering it. Not that I have a problem with that. :) This charade would not be necessary if Congress had the balls to repeal NFA34.

As for the 1-Shot: it has zero appeal to me...
