Here we go - again!

Oh, wait... it's also unconstitutional. So, there's that.

Oh wait... they don't care about the Constitution. But some of us do.

I guess everyone has seen this article. 🤬
They can wonder all they want. It's not possible. Unless everyone who designs 3d firearm models cooperates. Yea. That will happen.

This is bunch a bullshit FUD the Biden/Harris media wonks are throwing out there.

Maybe we can program the computers owned by the media to refuse to print or publish the garbage they write? ;)

Maybe the gov't will program our computers to prevent us from posting critical comments online?

Hypothetically, Congress could pass a law that declared printing a gun illegal. But they really cant stop anyone from doing it. Drunk driving is against the law. But they cant prevent drunks from getting in their car and driving. They can only bust them when they do. It's even more far fetched, but I suppose they could require a license to own and operate a 3d printer like they did drones. Licenses are always accompanied by regulations.

Some nitwit in the Biden administration came up with this hare-brained idea. The good thing about most gun grabbers is they really have no idea what they are talking about. They know nothing about guns. Or 3D printing. That makes them annoying but when you think about it, their cluelessness isn't entirely a bad thing.

Lets say maybe somehow they can somehow program new machines… ha ha, all us with old machines will be printing and sharing with people that can’t. Threats like this may cause buying of 3D printers so people can get one that’s not programmed.

IMO- I don’t see how it’s possible to do.

It would be akin to programming my laptop so I can't type, "Biden sucks."

PS... Does anyone else hear a helicopter? ;)

I honestly think that slicing software if not printers could have logic embedded to block certain patterns. Will it happen? Maybe for closed source software it could. For open source, I think it is a stretch. Unfortunately my Cadillac printer is closed source. I still have my Honda civic open source capable printers though ;)

You realize Microsoft and Apple literally could code that into the OS, right? No different than what we are seeing Facebook and Google doing to new stories and search results and the like.

I noticed you were writing something negative about the Government...
