Uzbekistan doesn't offer a lot of career choices. The avg annual income is $1750.00. Mineral rich, cheap energy, and agriculture export is huge. Kind of makes you wonder where all the money is going. I'll bet these girls know.
 
This post reminded me of a friend's story about being put into Facebook "jail" or "time out."

He typed out a message that he intended to type "how." As in, "I can show you how." But a slip of the finger one keyboard button off caused a typo, "hoe."

He got tagged and temporarily banned for "calling someone a whore." But , as we all know... "hoe" is a GARDEN TOOL! The abbreviated vernacular for whore is "ho."

I read an article about Facebooks censorship teams. They were mostly outsourced. It was interesting that the companies who provided the bodies for this service to FB had a huge attrition rate. They also provided counselors. According to the article the job was stressful. More importantly, some of the things people posted were completely off the chart nuts. Perverse, violent, hateful, paranoid, etc. Basically they are reviewing the ramblings of sick minds. Reading that material 8-10 hours a day, every day was too much for some people.

I believe MOST of the censorship is automatic... algorithms programmed into FB.

Probably moreso now. The article cited there were hundreds of censors located worldwide. I presume the keywords were detected automagically and then someone had to look at it. That's how the IRS does it. Automation detects certain anomalies, kicks out a return for a human to review.

I had a wierd thing happen with Amazon. All of a sudden Amazon accused me of writing fake reviews to get discounts from sellers. I had no idea WTF this was about. Or that I could get discounts. I usually did do a review on something I really liked or didn't like. I was forever banned from doing reviews. There was no hint of bad language, over the top criticism... nothing like that. I dont really care, but I was curious so I called support. The dude was honest and helpful, but told me it was all automated and once the bot decided you were banned there is no way to get off the bot shit list. I asked him to review my reviews. He said that would be a waste of time because he cannot overrule the bot. Welcome to the future.

I had to appeal to X / Twitter when I got banned as a brand new member. I got tagged as a "bot" because I followed too many people too quickly. It took a while, but they finally cleared me.

I put on a Santa suit one time. I really dont look the part but did it anyway. A buddy of mine did a Santa pub crawl every year in Manhattan. I joined in - reluctantly - because I thought it was silly.

The day of the event arrives. I thought about bailing out but didnt. So we start going to the bars. There are lots of dudes showing up in Santa outfits.

It's Christmas so I'll be reserved in my commentary. Let's just say I never knew how many girls have a Santa fantasy.
