If he is public anywhere else than Facebook or Google, let me know.
Not interested in visiting a group that uses a database to type their thoughts into with one of the most noted database harvesting engines on the planet. Not bitchin', just stating facts. I have a deep history in tech. I could type for pages and pages here about the technical side of how you can be tracked.
I never understood folks marketing things as a business and only using Facebook. I get the exposure and whatnot and that it is free. But, chatting about firearms parts and in particular parts that now have a crosshair on their back with the biggest online enemy to freedom? Foolish. Google and Facebook are the worst.
He may not be wanting to sell much commercially and that's cool. But, the proper way to sell online is through your own website with your own carts and stuff. He can find relatively economical ways and some of it free to get that done. If he can design a lower and upper, he can get the basics of a website down and a Paypal or Stripe payment system in place himself. They make some cut and paste "widgets" where you can paste them into the code of his HTML. He will have some head banging at first, but it is worth it in his industry to do it. And host it on a server that is not anti-2A. It is a necessary evil to learn for anybody who wants to make money online. Eventually you gotta buy a car and quick renting one to get around in life.
Everybody has a crutch with the free stuff in life, but rest assured, if he is marketing his parts on Facebook, he is tracked directly by the Fed. Not just on Facebook, but everywhere their code is embedded into web pages and on phones. It is a cohesive database system shared by all the big tech businesses, NSA, DHS, DOJ and probably the AFT. They sell and give the user data, IPs and network of friends personal data and posts to the Fed is HOW THEY BECAME BILLIONAIRES. You don't get billions for clicks. Otherwise all the executives that have been running ad agencies at 15% commissions would be wealthier than Zuck. And I can assure you a click on Facebook is not worth 15% or even a tiny fraction of that. The tech gods make the money selling to the government. And this is the push for AI. Which is just a buzzword and marketing phrase for the huge databases sets the companies share like I've described above.
Share this post with the guy if you want. But, it is highly doubtful I will visit any place on Facebook or Google sights that talk about firearms. A non starter for me. And probably a bunch of other gun builders.
Cheers and thank for posting the pics. Let us know how it works out!
