I had a three old Chevys at different times. A '65 Bel Air a 62 'Biscayne I (both train wrecks from my college years) and later a '56. But I never worked on the brakes. Ask Santa for a Disc brake and power steering upgrade for Christmas. These are simple to do as you just swap the old for the new parts and re-assemble. Check the control arm bushings while it's apart. If they are 1960's vintage, install new ones while everything is apart.I have drum brakes, actually I have zero power everything.
