Now the BMG is in the target

This just makes me want to run down to the LGS and buy one
Wish I could... :(

All I have to say is FUCK MEXICO!!! 😠 AND the VPC! 😠 Mexico opened their borders for the past 4 years so what do they expect? Sugardouche is another punchintheface candidate. Make him shut his anti-patriotic, dick-licking trap!

It'd b e a cool gun to have. I don't have the spare $10+K on hand to get the one I'd want nor is my safe big (tall) enough to hold it. I'd need to build a safe room, per discussion on the another thread.

Not the first time the .50-BMG has been targeted by anti-liberty groups. They've been doing this for years. I seem to recall some politician once said they could shoot down planes and stop trains.

Found it... Jesse Jackson said it. It could "blow up railroads!" LOL!

A .50-BMG rifle is a rich man's toy. I'd love to have one, too... just to make liberals cry.

These are made around 45 minutes from my home
ULR 2.0 50 BMG and in stock at my LGS

Here's the front end of my Serbu BFG-50 and another pic. I got it in 2004. Around that time DOD had surplused out a Bunch of 50BMG ammo along with M2HB stellite lined barrels and ammo teardown components. As I recall, J&G Sales had ball ammo for 45 cents a round and there were all sorts of folks selling components. Mr. Serbu had started selling his rifle and I bought one. Since I was in a hurry to get it and not willing to wait , because Obama was going to ban these things, I got the nice day muzzle brake instead of the come and get it one. The Night Force 5.5x22 Scope with mounts cost as much as the rifle. and bipod.

I got reloading dies from Natchez Shooters, a press and primers from Midway and everything else from Jeff Bartlett. To this day I wish I had gotten the Molon Labe brake. When you shoot it off the bench it's like a 12 gauge 3 inch magnum from a heavy pump gun so it's not bad. The muzzle brakes side blast out to about 10 feet is unpleasant to experience. Out in the garage I have tarp to lay down when you're in the desert so that blast doesn't put up a dust cloud. One of my buddies uses a pump up fertilizer sprayer to dampen the ground for the same effect with his gun (a Barrett 82A1). If you want expensive, that's the one.

It's a lot of fun but basically a crew served weapon. One guy to hump the gun and another for ammo and all the other goodies. It would work well on a "technical" FWIW.

If you ever decide to part with it. I’d be inclined to entertain a new purchase

Bongo has one of these or something like it. Perfectly suited for an anti-materiel weapon... :)
Yep. Unwelcome vehicle repellent. The first round cracks the block. The second turns burglars in the front seat into hamburglars.

I'm very satisfied with the Noreen. I've considered the boltt action model with a mag. Mine is single shot.

I also like the Serbu. I've shot one and liked it. Barretts are very pricey as we all know.
