P80 PFC9 auction on GB, with fancy slide and RDS. LINK The PFC9 is the serialized version Polymer 80 put out before they went out. A MUST for the true collector! :D

I've bought a few guns from this vendor. Good people, small hole-in-the-wall pawn shop on a major road maybe 1/2 hour from me. They are minutes from the expressway and there is a "Pull-n-Pay" (LKQ) near them so I will combine trips. I might leave a "giggle bid" of $111.11 on it but I suspect it will top $300. :) What do you think?

$200.

Good luck bro. I need another Polymer 80 like I need a brain tumor. I'll bet the guy who built it had about $500 tied up in that gun.

To me... the purpose of (buying) a P80 is to build it or customize it for yourself. I wouldn't ever buy someone else's P80. Plus I would not trust it.

Depending on the price though, a serialized frame could be had if you were inclined to have a serialized frame. Strip it down and make it your own.

OK... I'd give'im $30 for that. Maybe.

That makes two of us.

Buying a handgun somebody else made on their kitchen table is like buying a car somebody else made.

Probably worth around $200 to $250 with the optic, assuming it works and is in good shape, but don't think it will sell on the high end of that estimate. Regardless of the color, that slide, in my opinion, is ugly. Never liked that type of slide cut.

The results for those of you interested... $270 was the sales price.

Or, like buying reloaded ammunition at an estate sale.
I won't even buy "remanufactured" from a licensed company.

I will only take it for free from two brothers in law, and one of them 1) provided detailed information on the components (bullet weight, primer, and powder grains and type) AND 2) taught me to reload.

Even used commercial guns are iffy for me.

Went above the high end of my estimate. Someone got carried away and bid too much.
Probably some wanna be gangsta. I already have a seralized PFC9 to carry and plenty of 80% ones to use otherwise. I may have gone $100. Even that may have been a bit much for my use of it. I have a bunch of red dots I have managed to acquire for nominal fees, so that aspect didn't even attract me. Hopefully the buyer can ensure it is safe.
