Palmetto Dagger with Advantage Arms .22 Upper, Sticky?

Got a sweet deal on the Dagger with Sig light, had an Advantage Arms .22 upper waiting for a frame.
Slid together well dry, added a couple of drops of Rem oil but there is a hesitation to close, a little space to go.
The trigger works, moves the slide just a touch and it clicks.
Bought it to mount a red dot so there cannot be any drag if it is expected to fire without problems.
Have not fired it yet, maybe a few rounds will tell the whole story. Comments?

I'm assuming it is not going home completely. are you riding the slide? if so, let the slide go

The trigger works

Try not to dry fire too much AA kit, I remember an MGB member had to file bump inside the chamber to feed on AA kit.

Thinking of applying white, either dry erase or fabric white to find out the rub point.
Viewed the thread that trimmed the mags.
Very leery of taking too much off, just enough.
