Long story, short...
Last year, my dad who was 89, ended up in a nursing home after suffering a couple of strokes and falls. He quickly developed post-stroke dementia and became weaker as each month progressed.
Saturday afternoon, he passed shortly after I left the hospice center. My brother and one of my sisters were with him.
My step-mother's brother, is in the same nursing home and doing poorly. She has been an absolute angel about seeing dad and her brother daily. She even took treats for their roommates quite a few times, too.
I ask those of you so inclined to include her in your prayers. Her faith is strong, but she is grieving and fearful of losing her brother soon.
Thanks in advance, folks.
