For those that may travel to SC, bone up if you decide to carry under the new law.
More details forthcoming as the statute is analyzed.

Now the process starts to weed out the bad elements of the legislation. This takes time. Had to do the same thing in 1996 when the "Shall Issue" law passed. Took several years to get all the undesirable elements removed.

SC recognizes the Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License (CWFL) WHEN carried by a resident of Florida. At least before the change to SC Law, SC did not recognize the Florida CWFL carried by non-residents of Florida.

Correct. You have to be a resident of the state for the permit you hold of a reciprocal state. More stuff that needs weeding out. :rolleyes:
