Being a subgun aficionado, my interests have been drawn to the Springfield Kuna.
The street price is reasonable and it's got all the design elements you'd want in a subgun. They came up with their own variation of roller delayed action vs blowback, presumably to not tread on Stribog, B&T or other patents. HK is king in the subgun realm but the patents for their infamously fantastic roller delayed system are long expired. But expensive to make.
Interestingly, this gun was initially designed for law enforcement and military in .40, which remains popular outside the US. So it's not a big stretch for the Kuna to become available in 10mm. Today, Springfield offers only 9mm in the US market. My interest is in a future 10mm version.
Since the goal of a subgun is to put a lot of pistol caliber lead in the air as fast as possible with the least amount of recoil, I'm intrigued with the notion of filling the air with 10mm freedom pills in a reasonably controlled manner.
Stribog introduced a 10mm some time ago. The 9mm is outstanding and affordable. I've made extensive upgrades to mine. I've been impressed with the Stribog and presume the 10mm is just as reliable. Instead of being torn to make a decision for the 10mm Stribog or Kuna, the answer is obvious. Buy both!
