I have just received my Combat Armory frame. I put a Polymer80 parts kit in it, with a OEM trigger bar. The slide is a Patmos Judah 23 with a LWD 40-9 conversion barrel, eBay steel RSA, OEM striker assembly & striker safety, OEM extractor, Combat Armory extractor spring, plunger and bearing. The slide cover plate is Polymer80 and the channel liner is eBay.
When I put this on my Gen 3 G23 frame it will fire. When I put this on my Combat Armory frame with mostly Polymer80 parts (the TMH is by Air Surplus with an OEM trigger bar) it will not fire/striker will not release.
The slide racks nicely and you can tell the trigger is moving into a firing position but, with the trigger fully pressed the striker is not released.
Let me add that getting the slide on either frame is not the easiest. The THM where the ejector is located is a tight fit and it seems to hang up at the half way on point, but I'm unsure as to what is causing this. I really want this to work and this is getting very frustrating.
I have an Aim Surplus slide that, ....works. It is currently on my G23 slide simply because it is cut for a red dot but, while functional, deserves it's own thread to ask questions about.
