Just need an RMR Optic and a Rear Sight .

This is a heavy gun ! Also racking is is difficult. Will have to do a hundred reps tonight then lube it tomorrow.

If it was like mine, it is the barrel. You got from KMt? Is this a .45 or 10mm? Didn’t know they made that slide in a .45.

The black gun is a 10mm. Yes it is a KMT Barrel . I have 60 reps done. The slide is like a cheese grater. Lol

I have a few of those slides. They are machined nicely and work much better than their G40 bullnose slides.

I am already considering a another G40 barrel. Also do not like the trigger I have installed. , I have a back up in my tool box. May order a Ghost 3.5lb connector next week. The trigger pull is a little to heavy. All of these comments are before I have shot the gun , so this may change.

Glock barrels are nice in the G40 as the chambers are loose like an AK for added reliability and ease of cycling. Lone Wolf makes some good ones too and will function much better than the KMT one. I put all those in the parts heap but I should just throw them away as they are junk. I don’t say that about much but their barrels for the G40 are terrible.

Might get KKM barrel after I Get an RMR for this gun.

I'd go with LW or Bar-Sto as I've read the KKM fitment is not the best on the KMT slides.

Took the G21 45acp and shot 3 rounds in the shoot tube. Did not cycle, had the brake on and the 20lb spring. Going to go back with a stock spring and will remove the brake. Need a baseline before the brake goes back on. It barks pretty good.
