Breaking! Trump taking steps towards a "crypto" federal reserve. Sparks crypto value spike today.

Breaking news!
I saw him on reruns of Laugh In. Clever act. I always wondered what Miss Vicky looked like.

That show was a parody of the ridiculousness of the 60s.

I met him in Las Vegas the late 90's. This showed up in the mail a month later. It's been over my desk ever since. Interesting conversation. He was a card-carrying communist and could make a very convincing argument for why this was a better model for humanity.

I dont think he was a bad person. Like a lot of smart, high minded people, they overlook the fundamentals of human behavior. Mainly greed and laziness. Communism is a terrific theoretical model - on paper. The problem is humans cant abide by it. Every communist regime has ended up being run by a corrupt politburo. Thugs. Humans are incapable of not fucking each other over for wealth or privilege.

Crypto is stirring. What's going on?

Things were really hopping yesterday and today with a sharp upward trend. Then a sharp dip. And now creeping back up again.

Here's the week for XRP. Last 2 days highlighted in yellow.

With the passage of some pro-crypto legislation and other favorable conditions, crypto is going nuts.

Yes! Go crypto I have all them except hedra , missed that one. Keep climbing 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻. Trump told everyone to invest in those months ago if ya didn’t already have them.
Between wifey and me... XRP, XLM, and HBAR. For fun, we have a little SHIB. Our biggest positions are XRP and XLM. No BTC, yet.

Our "strategy" is to go with crypto that has actual utility. We buy and hold. And as I've mentioned before.... we're invested to a degree that if it all goes "POOF!", our lives will continue virtually unaffected. But we're also invested to a degree that if it fulfills the predictions of some, our lives will be affected in a VERY positive way. As they say... "There will be signs!" LOL!

Although is high. Suggest getting some while you can it’s near the max hard cap.
Roughly 19.9 million BTC, out of a maximum 21 million BTC supply cap.
The fixed hard cap is a rule baked into Bitcoin’s protocol and helps define its scarcity-driven valuation model. This will drive the price up. 0 supply = unicorn prices

Bit coin has a maximum hard cap.

Our "problem" with BTC is that it has no actual utility. It is hyped as a "store of value... like digital gold." But even (real) gold has utility.

On the other hand.... XRP, XLM, and HBAR have actual utility as bridge currencies for cross-border transactions. Furthermore, they comply with the new ISO 20022 standard, which makes them useful for international banking transactions.

Also, XRP is far more efficient than BTC. Transaction fees are much lower. Transaction speed and volume capacity are orders of magnitude faster. And apparently (for reasons I don't quite understand), BTC requires a shit-ton of electric energy.

Admittedly, I am a relative newbie to all this and my understanding and knowledge is limited. Wifey knows way more than I do. She got (us) in last year before things really got interesting. So her portfolio has appreciated very nicely. I got my own account to play with just last January. So I bought in fairly high. My small portfolio has appreciated only just recently. I was negative for several months until just this last month.

We have a position in XRP, a bit of SHIB. Personally, we won't touch any BTC. Ever. That's just us.
