Well, it's 1/2 of a Dagger... I Can't Believe How Cheap (Inexpensive) it is.

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I'll try it here.

I thought I'd try one of the SCT frames and for $49.95, what could go wrong? Actually AIM Surplus had it on sale for $44.95, so I pulled the trigger...hehe.
I built it using a Dagger complete upper w/ RMR cut and Threaded Barrel that I got on sale for $199.00 or so and dropped in an Overwatch Precision Trigger Shoe ( the basic Polymer one) and a basic lower parts kit. When all was said and done I totaled it up and realized I had less than $300.00 in it. I'm amazed at what can be done for so little these days.

Do they make any slides like that without the side cuts on the top edge?

First thing I check these days... result of many hrs on Reddit šŸ˜†šŸ˜šŸ˜„
One could wonder how many problems are created on a simple mistake, but directly attributed to only because it's an 80% build.

It's really a simple oversight/ you'd think they'd make the pin and it's channel tapered to prevent incorrect insertion. It wouldn't take a steep taper, just enough to prevent the plunger from fully seating.

So you got the Overwatch Precision Trigger & lpk for $50. Dang, where?

i got one of the dagger slides with the docter cut because I had a vortex viper sitting on a shelf not doing anything (and a frame). 199 you can't really go wrong, and PSA always backs their stuff. sub 300 build, not including optic.

I just installed a Dagger slide on my oem glock frame. Nothing special just a basic slide. Fit perfect and works perfect.$125. Shot low so replaced the front sight with a lower one I had.

Are the new frames coming with the rear portion with like a web or box looking area to be removed.

Beautiful build OuttaFocus. Is that a finish-it-yourself kit? Or run through an FFL? I hadn't heard of that company before now (Brand new to this forum... I'll be learning alot I see...)

The SCT frame is a "100%" serialized frame and has to go through an FFL.

Interesting.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Just posted there :)

Thanks for the kindness. This is not common on other forums.

I also jumped on a recent $199 Dagger slide sale. PSA can be slow as molasses on shipping but the Dagger is a great pistol for the price. The components too.
