What the Washington State Gun Magazine Ban Means

This law is stupidity. Not even really enforceable. Everyone will obviously say all large capacity mags in possession have been purchased before the law took affect. Go ahead and prove it wasn’t. Ignorance at the highest levels.

When NJ passed a "hi-cap" mag law, (if I'm not mistaken) they made it retroactive. All "hi-cap" mags had to be turned in or destroyed.

Compliance: ZERO percent. Literally NONE were turned in.

The same thing happened with bump stocks. Effectively NONE were turned in across the country.

I agree. The only thing a person would have to worry about is if they purchase a magazine after the law goes into effect and they get busted by the manufacture date code on the mag.

Yeah, that's crazy no one turned any magazines in. That's Awesome!
I think a total of 2 Bumpstocks were turned in across the US and that was from a Law Enforcement Officer.
