Boys and g... well just boys, I'm jumping on Colt AR9 mag bandwagon, AR9 with Colt mag looks so sexy vs Glock mag. šŸ˜œ
Plus few more pros... manual arm is the same as AR15, LRBO is built into a mag and bolt catch, and it looks dead sexy.

Looking for 80% with a Colt pattern 9mm lower, only found one vender. Looks like I also have to buy internal parts separately, the total would be $185, and for that price, I might just get serialized lower $160 from Spike Tactical.

example of eye candy...

PSA closed out their "colt-ish" 9mm lowers 5+? years ago for $40-$50 and I regret not getting one. :(

I ended up with an AR-9 that takes Glock mags. NO LRBHO. :( But it shoots good and I have S-loads of compatible mags.

I DID look at LRBHO models but thought the mechanisms were flimsy and probably still are...

from what have read so far... Glock mag LRBO is questionable at best, even the advertised upper and lower have an issue locking back consistently. It gets worse when we mix different vendor lowers and uppers.

I built one of those about eight years ago or so and the straight blowback action was really rough on the hammer (and presumably on the hammer and trigger pins). I was seeing mechanical damage on the face of the hammer after only a few hundred rounds even though I was using a ramped bolt and the heaviest buffer I could find (although IIRC I was using generic parts of questionable quality). If I were to do it again I would probably try to use Colt OEM hammer and pins.

I have a AR9 lower from 5D tactical and an Aero upper. Haven't had any issues with the L:RBHO yet. Will need to check for damage next time I have it out but it has performed fine - no failure to feed/extract, etc.

I realize that this is old post but this is where I've found them.
Available raw or black w/LRBHO.

Yup, that is the only site I found, and i listed on my 1st post.

End up getting standard 80% lower with Colt mag adopter, which came out much cheaper

I have a Rock River lower that takes Colt Mags. You could look there.

Do they have 80% lower?

If you're still looking...
Try New Frontier in Las Vegas they have Glock lowers for AR's.
Also Quentin Defense in Chandler AZ has AR lowers in the 9/40 pattern for Glock mags.
Sorry, no Colt mag lowers.

Ok PSA has a Colt pattern AR9 lower for $239.99
