Hoffman Tactical does it again!

They're already out of stock. He's supposed to restock later this week.
They'll be illegal in Colorado after August 1st, but I'm hoping to get a couple for a fishing trip i have planned at the end of June.

In case anyone is interested.

A little OT but FRT-related. :)

After Public Day at my club (I RSO) I figured I'd head over to the plinking range and shoot some tin cans that I remembered to bring this time. I'm still trying to sight in the TeXas-22 with FaRTy trigger. "Sight In" is a misnomer as it is mainly aim at the target then try to keep the gun pointed exactly where you initially pointed because you are soon engulfed in smoke and the gun likes to rise a little. ;)

Anyhow, I had tack-welded some cans together to make them taller (and easier to hit) and I was finally able to develop a "system" of hitting, kind of a diagonal-down motion. :) I was at the short portion of the range. A man and his two sons were on the longer portion of the range getting ready to shoot a variety of AR pistols converted to 9mm and .22LR, all outfitted with FRTs. :devilish: They had brought SEVEN cases/24 of full soda cans to shoot at! :D The father, Art, came over to see if we could go cold and to also check out the TX-22 as he had just bought one and the FRT-Fairy at the range had given him a trinket just as he had given me one. :D (I actually donated $5 for four, used one and gave two away)

We went hot and of course Art and his sons got to run a couple mags each through the TX-22 then they invited me to shoot their guns. Art was good to explain the inner workings of the .22 conversions and FRTs which I find interesting. They were using the EndoMag conversions with 9mm uppers. There was buffer swapping and the like to get the FRT lowers to run with the various uppers. I don't think he had any Hoffman products and the names of what he had I can't remember.

As I was leaving, the FRT Fairy showed up again bearing gifts. :) He likes to 3D print stuff and gave me this extension to try on one of the TX-22s 17rd mags. Shown with OEM 17 and 22 rd-ers. I haven't got around to trying it yet...

Yesterday, maybe it was this morning, showed in stock. Just as a test because I would never own such a thing, I added it to my cart and tried to hypothetically check out. At that point it said out of stock. Almost caught one.
