Hey y'all! After thinking about it for years, I finally pulled the trigger (I know, bad pun) and built my first 80% pistol. I chose the 80% Arms GST-9 as a platform. The build went pretty smooth and the resulting gun shoots great! Here's what I ended up with:

Top down:
TruGlo Tru-Tec 3 MOA dot sight
Ameriglo suppressor height sights
PSA Dagger SW4 cut slide
Aim Surplus barrel
Mass Driver Comp
GST-9 frame with grip extension/magwell
Glock extended slide release (the only actual Glock part here, lol)
P80 flat face trigger
Ghost Inc 3.5 Ultimate trigger kit
Ghost Inc Lo-Pro extended mag release
Nightstick TWM-30 light

Nicely done! And thanks for jumping into the PGB pool by participating! You'll find this is a great group of folks. Some very smart people here!

Nice build. Looks "clean."

Did you have any challenges or bugs to work out?

Cool. Now you will need a lathe, mill, HF/pulse GTAW welding machine, 20 ton press, drill press, Reloading equipment, Ballistic Programs...

The only hitch I hit was that the rear rails didn't line up with the hole perfectly, making the pin harder than it should be to insert. I mean it was off just the tiniest fraction of an inch. I ran a needle file into the hole and twisted it about 3-4 times and that fixed it.

Don't encourage my tool addiction unless you're willing to let me crash on your couch!
I have a 50'x20' barn and a 40' Conex full of tools. Not to mention the 6' Toolbox/workbench and my rolling toolbox/Reloading station in the basement.
