I build this one just when MGB shutdown.

My first etching project.

I started putting my name on my build starting with this one, after all I built this.

I couldn't find a magwell for this, so I took a Glock 21 magwell and molded it in. Glock 21 magwell is too short for a PF45.
one problem I have with using JB Weld for shaping, is that it has a tendency to have little pin holes. I think I have figure out that the problem it was in the process I am using, on some of my more recent build I have solved this, and the shaping and blending has turned out a lot better.

sure :geek: you can never have to many stands

Thank for all the feedback on this one. I don't think it is one of my best, but people really like it.
I put Rook rails, pins and Smooth Operator safety plunger.
The rest of the parts are Lone Wolf UPK and LPK
This really need some trigger work that I will work on this winter when I have more shop time.

I'm interested in seeing more of your builds. Done any writeups on your jb weld molding process?

I hope I don't make anyone mad, but I have a lot of write-ups at ftq80.info - Login
there is a post called JB Weld Tips, should help out in doing mods on frames. I just don't want to rewrite every right-up I have done in the past. To be honest, I don't know why these two awesome forums for info don't join up.
If you have any question, we can start a post on the how-do stuff.
O! I have some builds posted in the gallery here and more at FTQ

That's badass, man.
Thanks for joining the forum and participating by posting! Dang you should do slide work. That slide looks worth it. Really the whole build is awesome. Definitely "something to write home to Mom about"

Thanks, I have been building five years now, trying to do all the work by hand in house.
