Why in the world would you tell the other side what you're doing?
Iran announces attack. U.S. drops their own propaganda. Israel also announces a pending response.
Even if you plan different responses, is it a good idea to talk if you're being attacked.
There was a ridiculous custom graphic done to show what a "response could be" by one so called "media outlet".
That illustration would have taken some time to do.

Shit, if it's happening, why talk. Just act.

It's like all the sides are announcing to the world that a war is a good idea. And yes, I get that you want to
deceive your enemy with false information to help your side of the argument.

Apparently, the Iranian attacks have already started. Here we go! SMFH.

If Trump was in office, I have NO DOUBT that none of this shit would be happening. And our enemies are going to get their licks in as much as possible before the election.

It isn't all about a bomb hitting a target, I think most of it is the terror angle -- "we are going to tell you we are going to do it and we did and we're gonna light 'em so you can see us above your home". There may also be a strategic angle of making us and Israel use expensive defensive weapons to take down cheap drones. Weapon stockpiles are not infinite.

On the flip side, look at Jordan and Saudi Arabia engaging to defend. It is a stretch to suggest they'd sanction a defensive attack though at some point they could be egged on enough to understand that eliminating a threat in the region is in their best interest.

And yea, if Trump were still POTUS none of this would be happening. Maybe Trump's new slogan can be MISA -- "Make Israel Safe Again". Our military doesn't need to do anything. Just turn Netanyahu loose.

They pretty much have to fly drones and missiles over Jordan to get to Israel. So, what's the deal with Jordan? They're allowing it?

I don't think they did. It sounded like Jordan participated in downing some of the drones. Probably gave clearance for US/Saudi to engage as well?

Back to the prior post. Jordan sorta needs to step up and fight back to if their airspace is being used to attack Israel lest they be seen as condoning it. I don't think Iran cares who strikes back, they just want to see it escalate.

Biden told the Israeli prime minister in his phone call that he should consider Saturday a win because Iran’s attacks had been largely unsuccessful and demonstrated Israel’s superior military capability, a senior administration official said.

We knew that was coming. Mind you, my personal thought is that we don't need to be involved AT ALL. But what Biden is really saying is that he doesn't approve of Israel defending itself.

Suggesting that Israel "won" because Iran failed is akin to telling someone that since he survived when the bully punched him in the nose and then retreated, he has no right to retaliate. Of course, that leaves the bully free to act on impulse again and repeat the process of strike and retreat.

I have to think that, behind Biden's back, Netanyahu is saying, "Fuck that asshole coward! He doesn't get to tell me / us what to do!"

My prediction... Israel is going to strike back HARD. Tonight. They will take out all the nuclear facilities in Iran. They will hit military targets. HARD. I'll be disappointed if they don't. That's exactly what they need to do. Right fucking now. They don't need us. And we should stay out of it. But we should NOT be SAYING that we object to it (which is what Whiskey Delta Biden is doing).

Didn't know he could read Farsi off the teleprompter...

I wholeheartedly agree with you in every case except Israel. It is our duty to God to stand with Israel in any way we can. Those who bless Israel will be blessed. Those who curse Israel will be cursed. There are examples through history where this can be seen as true. Biden is literally playing with fire.

Israel should strike Iran HARD and we should back them in whatever way they need for us to.

Yes. Actually many do. They just prefer to live in denial.
9 of the 10 players mentioned are the "usual suspects" in Middle Eastern conflicts of this sort. The outlier is Germany. I wonder what will have to change in the German government to have them cast their lot with the other 9? Do they have that many Muslims in their Parliament to alter their past policy? Stats say 6.5% of the population is now Muslim. The Germans have let a bunch of them in over the last 10 years.

Jordan let Israeli jets use its airspace during Iran attack — report

An Israeli air force officer says Jordan allowed Israeli fighter jets into its airspace to shoot down missiles and drones launched by Iran early Sunday, NBC News reports.

“In order to address something that comes from the east, we need to fly somewhere that is east of Israel,” the official says. “This was done with coordination.”

The report says Jordanian and Israeli fighters were coordinated by the US military, in what is thought to be the first time Israel and Jordan fought side by side.
