Holsters...trying to get it right.

Yes I did and may get another in black, my normal undershirt color!
Glad that worked out. I wear them all the time. The cool mesh variant is definitely more comfortable in the hotter months. Like some others wrote in the reviews, I cut off the retention strap. Dont need it if your carry is not full size. Not wearing a gun on your belt is very liberating. Quick draw is not optimal but in many 'civilized' situations the likelihood of needing to draw and fire in a couple of seconds is not likely. Sometimes I use the shirt to carry a small backup, with another on my hip.

Haven't yet worn mine out of the house (keep forgetting), but one of my reasons for getting it was the same as you stated in that last sentence, to carry my .38 Det Spl as a BUG!

I have the same brown leather 1791 paddle holster for my Walther which I carry while gold digging. I love it.
For what it’s intended for, it’s a great holster!!

P22. I love it. Light weight, easy to shoot with my carpel tunnel and right arm neuropathy. Plus females I encounter are more likely to try it cuz the dudes all carry 45’s. None of the ladies want to shoot that thing 🤣
I don't have one but a lot of people like the P22. I had a CCP in 380 and it ran like a champ. My wife chose that pistol for her first safety training class. I suggested the PPK but she preferred the CCP. It was overall lighter and the trigger weight was more agreeable to her.

Fannys go across yer ya know fanny.

It is a F.A.G. bag- Fast Action Gun bag as it was named in the 90s. No longer politically correct. Still, a rose by any other name an so on

Since I’m stuck with it, I see a repurposing opportunity…not sure what on earth that will look like or become.

Fanny has a completely different meaning in the UK. Every time I hear 'fanny pack' it makes me laugh.

FAG bag? Just as funny.

What people say:

"Hey, is that a fag bag or a European messenger bag?"
"if you have to tell people it's a man bag, it isn't."
"Nice purse, Nancy."
"Does your wife know you are using her handbag?"
"Gun people know you have a gun in there. Others just think you are a dork."
"Is that a real Hermes or a knock off?"
"I love your bag. A blowout and those urban camo Jimmy Choo's would make that outfit".
"Let me guess. You traded your F-150 for a minivan".

I think I'm going to ultimately use it for shotshells at the range. Seems like a good use for it. I've used it on CC a few more times here and there and just haven't liked it AT ALL. So a shot shell range bag it is.
