Yeah, I had not noticed that it cracked somewhere along the way.

Next time I take that one apart I'll stop-drill the crack and fill it in.

My impression on the NYPD trigger was the same as yours. I've heard some say they like it better. I found it interesting but did not become a fan. I suppose if I were a lifelong wheel gun fanboi it would seem friendly and familiar.

I carried a G27 in an IWB holster for many years. Not as a back-up... as a primary (and only).

I found it very comfortable.

That was actually a White Hats Holster (with Crossbreed clips). White Hat Holsters went out of business.

I want to hear an audible click when I insert a gun into a holster. Lots of folks like those leather backed holsters with a kydex half shell. I just never warmed up to them.

Leather shoulder rigs and an SoB worked fine for me. I have a few nice leather holsters for special guns. Hybrids I tried are in my holster morgue.

I like kydex for owb as well. Retention is important to me.

Speaking of holsters… Vedder has been jacking their prices and spamming the shit out of me. It’s starting to piss me off. Vedder has been my go to for quite a while but that could be ending.
