I know everyone has their own pet oil preferences for their pew-pews, and I'm not looking to start anything, but I just want to offer my initial two cents about the Topic Product, & found about this lube from some Beretta and 1911 fans who love this product and consistently rave about it, so I thought, sure I'll give it a try...albeit being rather carefully cynical. I've Rem oil, Wilson Combat, Lucas, CLP, products etc onhand...and all seem to provide similar if not virtually identical lubricity. I know some peeps swear by Mobil One. And so forth.

Truthfully, I didn't know what I'd really find. Is it Hype? Fanboy product?
I just applied the ALG Go-Juice to my Echelon for a normal, factory lube regimen.

result: I'm shocked how slick my Echelon slide racks. Truly. smh... wow.

Ok that's my PSA. Cheers!

The one thing I can't find and I feel it is of utmost importance is the temperature rating of the grease. Does anyone know what it is on this product. I do like that it is a grease and not an oil and the reviews say it does not migrate off the gun and that is very important to me.

Some may call it a grease, but it's an oil, I can assure you. It's a "bio-synthetic oil".

It is low-viscosity, but users claim it does not creep. It's featured by the MFG as being great for EDC. Time will tell. I just treated my 1911 officer's clone. Dang this is some slick stuff!

I'm a Mobil 1 lubricator. Tried 'em all. I'm pretty sure I could buy a new car with what I have spent on gun lubes in the past 25 years. :)

I use the Mobile 1 grease too. One quart of oil and a tube XHP grease lasts a lifetime. I bought a few pin oiler bottles and those hypodermic needle type things for the grease on Amazon for 5-6 bucks. I like a the grease because it doesnt melt and stays where you put it.

My favorite that isn't Mobile 1? Gun Butter. Their grease is pretty good too. A lot of pro competitors swear by it. I first heard of it from 1911 pin shooters many moons ago.

Exception: For new slides, I use the same copper grease Glock puts on at the factory. Just one time. I don't re-apply it.

It's a lot more expensive on Amazon. Bezos has to pay for that rocket ride somehow!

Negative. When you factor shipping, Amazon is far cheaper. $14+ for shipping....at Geiselle

They have had a grease as well, (in a white bottle) but they aren't featuring it right now at ALG. I don't know why.

OK, not sure if it is a marketing change or an actual different product but looks like it is sold as a different product. Search ALG 0000 Go Juice thin grease. If it is a bio synthetic oil, you can get it much cheaper in a larger quantity. I would no be interested in a bio synthetic oil at that price point and don’t use oils as they migrate.

ALG Go-Juice 0000 Very Thin Grease (4 oz.)

I stand corrected. I wasn't thinking about Prime. 9 bucks vs. 14 on Amazon. Geissele wants almost ten bucks for priority mail.

geiselle wants 14 and change to ship it to me priority. lol

Yes that is the grease variant. Right now Geiselle has none listed for sale, but they show the white bottle marked "thin grease". Go figure. Your link is from a different source than Geiselle. shrugs

(edit) - and I think the actual grease is purple in color. Not the oil.

The white bottle Geissle grease is discontinued/unavailable everywhere. People seem to like it. Gun Butter trigger grease is a good alternative. Also non toxic for those who like to lick their guns. :) I'd advise against eating Mobile 1.

Might as well get a quart bottle of it for around the same cost. I'd bet it's the same thing just rebottled and sold at a markup and as a "gun" product. Maybe I'm being extra skeptical, but I've seen these next best things too many times. I'll stick with the better-known industrial product manufacturers like Super Lube as they sell to companies operating multi-million-dollar machines that run 24/7 so if their lubrication fails, they lose huge accounts and potentially get sued. They also openly provide MSDS data sheets so you can see exactly what you are getting.
