Here is my second build which is my first frame I started. Now just need to do some frame polishing to get rid of the seam. I also may swap out the magwell. I think I like the Strike better that’s on build 1.

Nice build! Which slide and other components?

Do you know how to insert full size images into your post? I see the first one, but the others are thumbnail attachments that have to be opened. Or is that how you wanted to post it?

Inserted into the body of the post, they show up bigger on the screen than opening the thumbnails into a viewer. Let me know if you need help. :)

I like how he’s posting multiple pix as a thumb so I can easily click and scroll over instead of down page after page.

Are you on phone or computer? Just curious.

But, we need to teach @Mhuot how to rotate his photos! LOL!

Norm surf / post on a 🍎 tablet. Large edits , article posting PC. I like setting in my comfy chair. Also just cuz it may show I’m on…I may just have left forum open and walked away for hours.

I’m ok rolling my tablet on a flat 😃 to get the correct aspect. Far as I’m concerned he’s doing great posting all that Freedom don’t care if it’s upside down 👍🏻.

Sorry 4 the hijack @Mhuot 😬

Forgot also Cross Armory pins and slide lock, Apex ejector. I had Rooks TIN safety plunger but I ended up putting OEM back in due to it being way smoother than the TIN coated plunger.

Well, that's interesting! I would have expected the coated and rounded Rook plunger to be smoother.

Ya. I wasn’t to impressed with it. I got 2 of them and both feel the same. I expected them to feel like a polished one does. Or maybe I just polish really good 😂

Are they TiN coated? Or the DLC coated version?

Nice build!

TIN coated here is a pic of when I first installed it. The machining is slightly off also the spring does not seat in the plunger. Not a big deal just have to insert the safety plunger with the slide in top. So you have to push it in not drop it in.

The plunger in your photo doesn't look as shiny / polished as the plunger on the website. Could be the photo / lighting, though.

I've had that problem, even with OEM plungers - where the spring doesn't "snap" into the plunger. It still works. I just hold it all together while installing the extractor.

Lost me there. "Slide in top?" Push what in, not drop in?

Meant the slide has to be on top so you have to push the plunger in instead of drop. But you pretty much said the same thing with your post about having OEM spring not “snap” into the plunger. The safety plunger spring does dot seat “snap” in the safety plunger. So if you try and drop it in the slide the spring falls out. I talked to Rook about my concerns and he also said they did not turn out as good as they were hoping. So I am returning the 2 I got and exchanging them for the DLC ones instead.

Ah, gotcha. Have you tried the DLC version yet?

I will try and rotate so they are all the same way. It just depends on how i take the pic to start for the aspect I am trying to do. Also on the full photos I do see how to insert them but have them as the thumbnails just to make it easier to scroll “IMO” the post. I figured if there is a pic someone wants to see better all they have to do is select it and it makes it a full image.

On a laptop, it takes two clicks to make it bigger. If it's posted full size in the post... no clicks. 😛

Not yet. I will be returning the 2 TiN tomorrow to Rook for the DLC ones. All the ones I have so far are polished OEM.

Rook also makes those rounded versions. Have you tried those?
