If there's a day to assert our 2nd Amendment Rights, this is it!
Today, I played with my new air rifle and my PS90.
First the Benjamin Marauder F&T air rifle:
Above the red line were my 25 yard targets. All 5-shot groups. Below the red line are the 50 yard targets. The last target is a 10-shot group. Wind was "breezy," and it really affects the .22 pellets.
I picked the best groups at each distance and plugged them into my OnTarget TDS app to measure them. Nothing super-impressive. But there they are.
Since it is Independence Day, I had to bring out at least one "powder burner" to make some noise! The PS90 is a fun gun.
First target set at 25 yards. Confirmed the 25-yard zero. Optic is an unmagnified red dot (Aimpoint T2).
2nd target at 50 yards. With the 25 yard zero, POI was high. Adjusted the elevation and was mostly in the 3-inch bullseye. At 50 yards, the dot pretty much covers the bullseye to my eye.
The range was not as busy as I expected. It was overcast and I got there at 9am, so not too hot, yet.
