It will be OD Green using my RIT dyes like my G43 was. Questions:

1. I've had good luck with Glock OEM uppers. I'm on the waitlist for one at Big Tex for a Gen 4, is that the right one for this? Not sure how uppers differed from Gen 3- Gen 4. Has anyone used another slide/barrel/parts that has worked flawlessly on a P45 build? I don't piecemeal anything together, I'm only interested in complete kits, or slide/barrel combos and upper parts kit.

2. Glock OEM LPK are hard/impossible to find, and I refuse to piecemeal LPK. Same question, anyone done a build that runs flawlessly with another parts kit?

3. Any tips particular to the PF45? The G43 was radically different from the G19 and I was surprised by it.

Thanks!

@bapegg Wow, between you and Michele, one can't really go wrong around here, thank you! Others are very helpful, also, but you two go above and beyond!

Nice vid, thanks. For others behind me, the fix starts at 6:00.

Most of his EXCELLENT videos (don’t want to sound ungrateful) start being really useful about 2/3 into them. Love the guy, fellow vet, doing yeoman’s work here, would love to have a beer or three with him, but his vids should be 1/3 the length. However, since I don’t know how to edit vids I won’t complain to much. He’s done us all a tremendous service.

Yeah for most of us they are long...he stated he made them so simple and detailed so a person with zero skill with tools or firearm knowledge could build. Put them on 2X+ speed. He tosses in little nice to know gems now and again while he's rambling in his OCD manner. ☺️

Can’t complain about the results I got on the last build. He does know his stuff!

This is where I got all of my Glock OEM upper with oem parts and OEM lower parts kit. They take an actual Glock and remove the frame and send you everything else including the Glock case with the sticker on the side ( serial number removed ) the cleaning brush, brush push rod, cable lock, etc.
I have bought 5 different Glock oem kits from them and I dont regret it.
Saves time searching for lower oem parts kits.

Where can you find quality lower parts kits for the G21 PF45 P80?

Got plenty of 1911's to scratch the 45ACP itch, so my big gun build was a 10mm.

The barrel, upper and UPK were from Rockey Brass. Zero issues with their barrels and uppers on all my 9mm builds, and none were had with this one either. They currently have slides, barrels, and RB UPK in stock for both the 20 and 21.

I did take the time to hunt for all OEM Glock lower parts though. Took awhile to locate everything, but I didn't want any aftermarket compatibility issues, and I lean toward function over fancy, so I prefer no added bling that ups the price, but adds no function.

So yeah, it's plain Jane compared to most builds, but it works.

Lone Wolf enhanced kit direct from LWD $59.95 but I had to dink around with searches. That price is not on the Corporate site. I just installed it, but don't have the upper kit so I can test it. This lower kit has the over travel screw in the trigger housing.

I'm not a fan of those Ho House guns either, although I did do a purple frame with gold accents. Personally I prefer clean looking builds with classic lines.
Yours follows that classic mantra. My P45 will have a black bull nose slide with gray lower and stainless accents.

LOL! "ho house guns." Are they the same as "Gucci guns?"

I admit I've been guilty of dressing up some guns. I like the classic clean guns, too. But, after a while, they all look the same! I figure why not have both... some classic black Plain Jane... AND Gucci... I mean ho house!

Well JC, I got my PF45 together. Just waiting on Lone Wolf for a new trigger bar.
Remsport barrel and slide, Lone Wolf UPK and LPK, billet striker and RSA.
