A permit to exercise a Constitutionally-protected Right. Hmmmm.....

 
State WEBSITE. I don't know how many people live in DE, but I only counted 75 "instructors" on the list with no addresses or phone numbers listed.

IF you already have a DE concealed carry permit that counts for purchase, also.

At any rate, no good will come of such measures and expect a wait because of a backlog of applicants if you live in DE... :rolleyes:

NC law was the same for the past 100+ years. That law was somewhat recently stricken. Seems like a waste of time for everyone.

Read the exemptions. Most of the people here would be exempt.

For the record, I don't disagree with mandatory safety instruction for handguns.

Too lazy to go look it up, but I wonder how the crime statistics compare to SC where you pass the background check and take your new toy home right then. If you have a SC CWP, you are exempt from the check because the SC Law Enforcement Division runs everyone in the CWP database through NICS periodically. 🤔

NC checks for mental health records of all conceal permit applicants.
