Has anyone here messed with the Cetme C?
Well, were on sale at a couple of places, Apex gun parts and Centerfire Systems, Cetme C kits with barrels.
So of course I bought a kit at each place and a couple of flats.
Some stank ahhs magazines on sale too at Apex. (Rendered critters moldy asshole gease)

Now will need to figure out what to do and where to get 922r parts
And build or buy a press jig. I own a press. Got a mig.

i guess kits with barrels are now a thing again. But that is 1 less part you have to do anyway that would be 922r.

Wonder what other kits will be coming in with barrels now.

The whole roller delayed thing is a bunch of voodoo and witchcraft. CETME was the first generation of this sorcery. Nice to see unmolested kits again.

It's been so long I can't remember what parts from the HK91 would work so no idea on where to get Us parts. Century has been in the CETME game for a long time. I'm sure they have US parts.

Century.
Back when I had a c&r, a fellow named Herb would call every now and then, and sell me stuff.
Then some ahole in the warehouse would make sure half the product was something someone else sent back.

I have watched a video or two and am confident I can finish demilling the left overs.

Ok so I got the one kit demilled.
You have to remove the cut chunks of receiver freeing the trunion and cocking tube extention.
Tools used, a harbor freight electric cutoff tool and air hammer with chisel.
I used the cutoff tool to dish out the spot welds, then the air hammer with chisel to work my way around the trunion.
Dremel with cut off blade was used around the cocking tube extention, a icon deep well socket fit snug in it to avoid damaging it further.
Only the three spots were actually welded to the trunion but the cocking tube had two spots and the top area that were holding.

I need to hillbilly a bending jig and aquire a peice of copper or bronze to fix up the spots that pulled out of the tube extention.

It looks like guy were using even a hogged out wooden board to bend the receiver.
I think I can cobble some round stock to do it.
Not sure yet.

Not sure on 922r parts.
Id like to purchase a lower grip and fcg assembly, that would be 3 or 4 US parts right there.

What OTHER complete kits would you be interested in. What state do you reside?
I have a few FAL ( inch & metric) & AK kits laying about.

The Cemte is about the only 1 I never did. I did watch a few guys bend them with wood clam shell thing. Then weld them with my Mig.
Setting the head space was the only problem/difficult part. Again I never did 1.

Ohh I have done a few ak kits.
And did a psl build, but that had a case head separation that nuked things up good.
It stifled my building enthusiasm for a bit.

These kits have complete barrels so I am hoping the headspace isn't out.
But I do have the guage.

Digging deep into long unused memory but I believe headspace is set by the roller lockers. Something about measuring the gap. Not sure about initial setup. All you need is a feeler gauge.
