Found this ammo storage can on printables, and made the label from a site called PosterMyWall (Links attached below)

9MM CAN

Label

Last picture is of an updated label I made, I think I like it better than the original I made.

Very cool!

What about some fake / camouflage labels... like soup or coffee? 😁

Well, that's no fun! ;)
Don’t get me wrong. I like the inserts especially if they are the size of my favorite coffee brand, Community.
Does anyone here have the files to make these? I would be interested in ordering some.

Yea I was looking at some ideas from ETSY on fake soup labels. I may go that route on my next project. I used an old Western Ammunition Company box design for this label.

Why not just use an empty coffee can, or whatever would work?
@Patrick
Interesting concept but I believe in the KISS principle. ;) It may not appear like it but those100rds will fit in that coffee can. It was full of coffee so you'll have to take my word on it. :D

Now IF I had a 3D printer I would probably be running that sucker 24/7. But I'm glad I don't because I just don't have the time... :)

I used to buy those MSM ammo containers that a lot of reloaders use. Then I realized I'm shooting so much of it, transferring the ammo to a different container isn't improving my quality of life. Looks nicer on the firing line though!

This is what my safe room would look like If I put ammo in soup cans :)

Minestrone = Fiocchi 9mm
Beefy Mushroom = 45 ACP hollow points
Cream of Chicken = 20 ga shotgun shells
Chunky Chili Mac = 12 ga slugs

You had to know this was coming!

Now that right there is, as my Brit friends would say, 'Bloody Brilliant'.

"A can of WhupAss for you? Which flavor would you like? Individual or Economy size?"

Very cool, VERY cool- Patrick, sir!!

They sell empty clean sealable paint cans.
If I didn't have enough ammo cans, that's what I would do.

For pistol ammo, I've gotten away from individual cardboard boxes. And I quit buying the plastic boxes. They add up and you can't get as many in an ammo can. Plus, the time it takes to put them in the box one by one, take the fired brass out of the box to process, and then rinse and repeat adds up.

So, ammo can for storage. What I already have in boxes for the low volume calibers stays in boxes. The high volume calibers are bulk stored in ammo cans with desiccant. For range use, I have a couple of Dillon Border Shift bags. Bag has an internal fabric partition to separate the ammo from the fired brass.

Low volume rifle ammo is also packed in boxes, mostly factory 20 round boxes that are not of the Styrofoam persuasion. Wish someone made boxes like Winchester used to use back in the 60's-70's. They were more compact than the current ones with plastic trays.

Shotgun shells same way. Got tired of messing with the MTM boxes and just bulk store the shells in a big plastic storage box. When I go to the club, I just scoop them into my shell bag until it's full.

That is a grate idea if you have a factory lid sealer and need a small emergency supply. Good for a small supply on the boat. Where would one get new cans and a lid press?
