Freinds, anyone try the .22 Creedmoor?
Well I know I shouldn't expect a lot out of the upper but, bearcreek now makes an ar10 type upper in that caliber.
And I ordered one. 1-8" twist I think or 1-9"
They have done the 22-250 for quit some time now but those won't shoot heavier bullets. 1-12"-1-14"
So now I need to lay in supplies.
Dies, brass and I have powder and bullets.
In old school terms, the 22-243 middlestead=22 Creedmore or similar idea.

Just wondering if anyone else has this type of project going and what have you done for ammo and reloading.
Think I'll see if Hornaday dies are available.
Probably Starline brass.

Edited to fix the smelling.

Ok so, I have two boxes of very expensive ammo, a baggy of brass and my upper came.
Upper wouldn't fit on my Bushmaster lower for some reason. Just too tight.
So it went on my Areo lower.
It does have the smaller firing pin setup.
1-8" twist.

It appears this cartridge takes a slower powder but I only have faster slower powders if that makes any sense.
Hunter, Stayballz 6.5, Superformance.

Should have a plethora of bullets to try.
One I want to try is a solid copper 55 gr just for speed.
Purchased 500 of those 90gr Sierra bullets years ago to shoot in my 22 Vallkilmersucks, but I doubt those will stabilise.

How does the case compare to .223. Any side-by-side pics?

22 creedmoor, 25 creedmoor, 6.5 creedmore, 308.
243, 260, 7mm08, 308
Large AR cartridges.
Aka short action bolt gun cartridges

Eta: Got my dies today from Titan Reloading. Lee dies. They sell everyone's stuff but specialise in Lee. These folks ship fast and I have always been pleased with them.
