I think you will want to watch this video. It is short and sweet and gets to the point. I have indexed the start to brush over the intro segments
and get to the heart of the matter.
The Supreme Court is hearing an AFT case this week about the Vegas shooting and Bumpstock rule initiated by Trump. I haven't followed this case much, but the lawyer in the video outlines its importance to the frame rule and the pistol brace rule.
I haven't followed this case because I figured it was a forgone conclusion that a ban on evil "bumpstock machine guns" would be upheld by our corrupt court systems.
Well it turns out that the legal briefs have little to do with machine guns or bumpstocks and mostly about the same issues that pervade
the frame and pistol brace rules. Namely, the making of laws and rules through alphabet agencies instead of going through Congress.
According to the lawyer, Trump's ruling unleashed the floodgates for rule by fiat with the AFT and he appears to place great importance
on the arguments to be heard this Wednesday in the Supreme Court. The video does a better job than I can explaining things.
FYI, I intentionally misspell A T F with AFT if folks haven't figured that out by now.
