Last one I’m putting up is a give away from last yr won by The Pyrodex who I believe is currently a mod over at P80 Reddit.

I like all the dipped freedom! How do the graphics hold up over time? I also really like the gold leaf on the .22 conversion. Great work!

It’s a paint system.
Like all paint systems durability starts with the base, proper prep and application.
The final coat will determine wearability. I use a 2 part auto clear coat its pretty darn good. If you like and trust the cerakote system, can finish with a clear cerakote.

The gold is gold…it’s adhered with sizing. Not sure how will that’ll hold.

Hydrographic art is inexpensive and easily done at home. How to details

Electro-etching, like the We the people slide above, is nearly free. Done with items you most likely have around the home. There’s a series on methods, how to details

Anyone interested in trying these I’ll be please to assist and answer any questions or concerns.

I really want that ammo can... where I can buy I one?

Michele, WOW!!! You have some great builds there, and a nice spectrum of taste. Two thumbs up. Do you and your husband have similar or differing styles & goals in your builds? BTW thank you BOTH for serving. My BIL and FIL (the latter now deceased) were both NAVY. I've never served but have the utmost respect and admiration for y'all.

Racer88...so , SO cool!!!

Naw, my hubby is utilitarian. I like to do art. 🙂

You can get an ammo can at a local army navy surplus. PM and I'll make you a waterslide sticker to put on it. Waterslide is same as the ol' plastic model car stickers.
SO, you can buy the waterslide label stock and print your own imgaes on it? Do tell!

Ummm just saw this … Just toss it in your printer, immerse in water for allotted time slide it off the paper onto your object. Directions are included with paper.
Pick your choice of water slide paper off Amazon

Ah decals!!!!! Nifty idea. Then shoot a clearcoat over the top and you're done. Same thing as Fender's guitar headstock decals. Decals were the 'mystery cool' item when I was a kid building models many, many moons ago..
