As the title asks...or do you have any other suggestions for an aftermkt trigger option? How about Serpico? I do like the look of the Tyrant as it's a bit more streamlined and elegant than the others.

If I do this upgrade, it's going to be TiN (Gold) to match a G26 barrel, so that leaves some (like OVERWATCH) out. Your experiences are my teachers here, so thank you peeps.

I think I found the best price on a gold aluminum flat faced trigger . K M Tactical has a "Titanium Nitride Aluminium Trigger Shoe" to install on your existing bar. $19.50 for the shoe and $12.50 for a black or gold trigger safety.
Despite what a member has recently said about KMT, I have found them very customer oriented and fair. Also fast ship.
Just go to their site to see options www.kmtactical.net

The Km tactical shoe looks like a nice shoe for the price but it’s weird that they sell the safety tap separate from the shoe

Not weird at all. Allows color mix ad match without so many product variations. Also keeps their assembly costs down......smart.

Hmmm. I’ll take a look over there. “You get what you pay for” always rings true with me, but there isn’t a whole lot that goes into a trigger with today's modern tech. So many gross markups in this field. I’ll take a look over there, thanks!!!

I’ve had great luck with the Johnny Glock drop in combat triggers. Pricey but you can definitely feel the difference vs stock. Now it’s not a 1911/2011 trigger, but it’s better than the oem stock Glock mushiness.

About Tyrant Design. They have cool color and design with overpriced items. I never tried since their name frequently mention on various online with failures. One failure I read was slide stop. It is advertised as CNC but it is glue with two metal pieces. CNC parts ramdonly fall off the slide stop. 🤷‍♂️

Johnny Glock is top notch, so yea it will be expensive. I have many of his items. My fav is $22 OEM shoe with pre-travel adj screw tapped. Unfortunately he doesn't have discount code.

Serpico. They are inexpensive option. Less than $50. Mr. Bagpegg raved about them so I got one to try. But not my cup of tea 😅

What your budget?
Ranger proof is top notch but bit expensive. Lucky we have 20% off code. Check them out.

Thanks. Budget is the operative word right now as I've had a sudden serious personal challenge cross my path, as we all do at times. The KM Tactical unit looks interesting but ambiguous whether or not they include the proper screws/hardware to mount the shoe securely to the TB. I'm assuming they are included. Not a bad price if it fits, and the anodizing holds.

If I change it from the OEM I already have, it will be for aesthetics to match the TiN barrel, and maybe to gain a bit of "feel" or ergo that will equal or better the OEM glock plastic shoe and safety. I just can't swing a high-quality aftermkt trigger assy at this present time, so that's off the table. Maybe I'll just stick with what I have for now. :D

Recently ordered from KM Tactical... Not related to the trigger shoes, but they literally shipped the same day I ordered. Tracking says I should receive my parts tomorrow.

i contacted them about pins. This trigger is made to reuse the Glock pins. They are not included. You have to remove the Glock pins anyway. BTW, this is a TiN coated trigger NOT anodized per se. Different process.

Callducks7, thank you for doing that for me and relaying the info. REALLY appreciate that!

I like what I see at the RangerProof website. Too bad they don't offer a shoe with a trigger bar ( I know JG does with his variant for $50 ) , as I'll need one. Pricey shoe, but not as bad as some, and with a 20% off discount is certainly more attractive. Not sure which one I'd choose, but perhaps the Hybrid - they are all priced the same. Any recommendations of those 4?

'Buy once, cry once'. But I DO need a gen 3 bar and I'd prefer OEM. I'll do some shopping and see what I can find. Thanks again for the tip!

Found an OEM triggerbar at Glockmeister and it's on the way....I can take the other Gen 3 OEM bar from SC#1 and put it into "the brat" SC that has the Gen4 bar I want to ditch. This is getting better. Sure like the RangerProof trigger shoe options. I may bite.

Trying to figure out which of their four choices will be optimum but I don't think there's a bad choice among them. I like the Hybrid, but wondering about the other three with the more traditional glock safety that's a thinner, longer blade regarding trigger "feel". Hmm. That one from KMT is tempting for the price...but the 'buy once cry once' keeps circulating in me brain.

Mooner, which Serpico model/unit did you try that didn't scratch that itch, bro? I'm thinking Something from them (Lyte maybe) or just biting the bullet and going with something from Ranger Proof if I can swing it.

Nevermind Mooner, but thanks anyways. A trigger is on the way and I'll try and post a pic once I have it installed. Thanks everyone, for your input!!

I wanted to follow-up on this thread: the combination of RangerProof Triggers (two VexF3's and one Hybrid Ranger II), ROOK Tactical dimpled StainlessSteel Pinsets and the ROOK 'Smooth Operator' DLC-coated safety plunger, has made for a stunningly good trigger setup, both on my G19 and SC clones. What's more is that after the first pull, reset and shot thereafter have a very clean, crisp break to them that I find pretty amazing, and yes, I do feel a difference between the OEM plungers and the ROOK units I installed. I may not have the entire Johnny Glocks ultimate trigger setup, but these three items, along with some careful hand-polishing of OEM parts, has made for a quite acceptable trigger that I probably won't try to make any better than they already are. Mooner, thank you again for the tip! And again, thank you Michele for pointing me towards the ROOK products earlier this past spring.

Now back to bed for some serious shuteye...
