Biggest concern over an AR-10 Build is there are two BASIC AR-10s out there (to my knowledge, there may now be more). DPMS pattern is the most common, but Armalite-compatible parts are out there too. Generally, when parts are listed as "DPMS" or "LR-308", they are the same. 5D Tactical jigs are DPMS-based, as are their Lowers. Honestly, I have not tried any of Palmetto's AR products, and I am not seeing ANYTHING on their site saying their AR-10 platforms are DPMS-based (I may have missed it), but the references to "Gen 1" and "Gen 2" imply DPMS lineage. If you are able to 'gun-smith' an 80% ANYTHING, you can probably resolve any minor differences between various DPMS-pattern AR-10/LR-308 receivers...
Hopefully someone with direct experience on Palmetto's AR-10 receivers will chime-in too.
*Edit: I read through some of the reviews and questions on the LPK, and it definitely looks like a concern regarding the Bolt Catch Lever -most of the 80% lowers are now using a screw-in 'pin' instead of a driven-in roll-pin to hold this in place. I don't see that threaded 'pin' in PSA's kit, and someone specifically mentions this too. That CAN be purchased separately, but... What is the purpose of buying an LPK if you have to supplement it with 'correct' parts? Still, it should get you MOSTLY there...
